well they should, he still committed an offense - now its fu'ck all

celtic match other night - wrong geezer gets sent off. aalborg appeal and get the red recinded, only for the real offender to get a yellow card in the end

how is that? if terry can get away with it ?

I thought rugby tackles were outside the games remit as acceptable ???

Terry's a dirty player and with his Engerland Vice Capatain seen 'bollocking' the ref on live TV - yep it sends the right message about the game in England - it's DIRTY! The punishment stood because he wrestled the guy to the floor preventing - it was cynical and refs need to use descretion in such situations. it sends the wrong message and others will do the same.
