What annoyed me watching the turks was how often they gave the ball away and seemed to be willing the penalty shootout. They can attack, and they can score goals, and they are very good at it ! They have to attack against germany otherwise they are out. They wont get a second chance.

:)

Astonishing late drama, again from Turkey. Well played to them too.

However....

Their continuation beyond the last 4 is now in serious peril. All the same, a magnificent run - and rightly should be considered as one of the teams of Euro 2008.

Who could've foreseen that?

I hope Turkey give the Germans a good run for their money in the Semihs.

Same here.

Also gutted that Modric will play against us next season. Only have started knowing him this Euro because I don't watch much youtube nor other games bar the local or Liverpool ones.

Everything he does is quality. Every control he does is orientated. His football mind is quick and I think he's better than Fabregas and any midfielder Spain has. If he's not now, he'll be for sure. What a player.

He's an excellent player, mate. So comfortable in possession, always looking for space, always looking for the killer ball and always looking to make things happen. He doesn't seem to be as much of a threat at shooting as say someone like Scholes, but you can't have it all.

I hope Nihat Kahveci recovers in time, I heard he noticed something in his muscle.
