Just watched Pulp Fiction for the first time and a while tonight.  Still an absolute belter of a movie! :buttrock  A very nice litmus test of how I'm conditioning the missus, BTW.  The first time we watched the movie together she stared at me like I had two heads for watching the Gimp scene.  I got the cold shoulder for days all because I had the audacity to sit through some, to her, highly objectionable and entirely gratuitous movie scene.  Unbelievable. :no  Anyway, tonight she opted to leave the room when Maynard 'brought out the gimp' but reappeared for the following scene with nay fuss.  Now, if I can just get her to bring the beer and pretzels back with her next time, we're in business! :D

Watched a movie called Pathology, pretty gruesome and twisted. A young group of Pathologists continuosly seek to commit the perfect murder. Its worth a download especially if your a bit twisted yourself. 7/10

Saw the Happening, what a dissapoinment that was ! They must of showed the best scenes of the movie in the 20 second trailer on TV. Absolute let down. 3/10

Watched that last night Bamaga, unfortunately I was eating my dinner at the time, put me right off.  :D  . Overall not a bad movie a bit shallow but was worth the DL.

:D , beginning to wonder if you're hiding behind my sofa, for it was at the very moment the sh'it chute was severed I was shovelling a spoonfull of chilli con carne into me gob ! I almost puked .  :sniffle

Watched a great spanish movie this morning.

"The Orphange"

"There are elements here of other classic occult movies, paranormal investigations such as The Haunting, tales of children communicating with the past such as The Innocents and The Shining, and distraught mothers seeking lost children, most famously Don't Look Now. Bayona handles his story with great skill, giving the house and its surroundings a baleful look, drawing us into Laura's world through big close-ups of her eyes and long subjective shots that dart around rooms as her anxieties overcome her. Rueda is excellent, and there's a terrific cameo performance from Geraldine Chaplin as a medium who descends on the orphanage with a team of hi-tech ghostbusters. But the less you know of this film, the more you'll be surprised, shocked and, in the end, satisfied. (partial review The Guardian)

Described in some quarters as a "horror film" this movie is much more a "creepy" movie.

I don't normally go for the "paranormal" movies but found this one quite tragic and very spooky, so glad I wasn't watching it alone at night with the lights off !

The orphanage, thats a Spainsh one isnt it ?

Had that somewhere around here, but I'm to lazy to read subtitles. I can never get into films that much with subtitles. I suppose its because I'm a slow reader, I read the subbys but then I miss the scene. :D

I know what you mean mate , I usually end up watching subbed movies at least twice, one to digest the plot and the two to watch the action.  :D
