Hanckock was an absolute scream found myself in fits of laughter, will smith alchohlic super hero with an acid tounge and bad attitude, highly reccomended good story line too.

Yea mate , it was a very good show , worth every penny

The best film so far this year is Wall-E. I know it's for kids, but I watched it and loved it. You know it's a sad indictment on writers for the most part of films this year, when a virtually mute cartoon  robot can display more character than those that had full scripts of dialog written for them.

Watched Hancock yesterday, not my kind of movie really. Fell asleep through half of it.

Love Guru, now that was funny had me in fits of laughter throughout.

"Would you help your uncle Jack, off an elephant "   Ben Kingsley is rather funny in it but Mike Myers and that little frodo fella are jus hilarious in parts. And there is Jessica Alba too, to keep yopu even more interested.

I saw a film called "Already dead" hired that one Daws thats well worth a look.

Saw a B' grader with Wesley snipes, "art of war 2" steer clear of that, and "insanatarium" was a bit of a B' grade blood thirsty movie.

Rendition though, highly recommended. The basic plot is where some Ameriacan agents or servants have been blown up in Egypt or somewhere around the middle east. And the CIA are on the warpath. An Egyptian/American is flying home from Africa, where the CIA cart him off as soon as he arrives in the states, and question him. He is then flown to Egypt for further interrigation/torture about the bombing, suffice to say he is innocent all the time. Another story line runs parallell with this one to, and it kind of meets up at the end/begining   very good film.

still dont see the big deal with tarantino, the films are great but they just sound too much like they are reading directedly fom the script. every syllable has been written there and QT wont let anyone deviate one iota. because of this it sounds too wooden at times. Pulp Fiction actaully works better if read rather than watched. i always thought that QT should stick to writing and not direct as well as he puts too much imputus on the script. (Wrote about QT for a university thesis)

I don't get the thing with Tarantino either. The only film of his that I've been able to sit through is Jackie Brown. All of the others just send me to sleep.

Watched a flick the other night called 'Home of the Brave'. It's about a group of soldiers from the same town in America who've served in Iraq and how they struggle to adjust to life and people when they return home. Samuel L. Jackson is superb as usual and you can't go wrong when a movie has a bit of Jessica Biel in either.

The only problem is as the title suggest it gets a bit too god bless America at times and the sacharine guitar tones that accompany every scene do start to get on yer tits after a while.

Overall I'd give it  6.5/10.

I went and saw Hellboy II last night and was rather disappointed with it.  I loved the first Hellboy...one of the better comic book movies you'll find, IMO.  So, I was up for this one and the good reviews seemed promising.  Well, visually it is stunning, majestic, mind-blowing...name your superlative.  Unfortunately, for me, the story was decidedly in the fantasy movie genre.  Don't get me wrong, I love those type of movies but they don't fit with the gritty, comic-book superhero vibe that the original Hellboy laid down and that this one was still offering in parts.  In fact, it felt like two different sequels awkwardly mish-mashed together: the Hellboy sequel and the sequel to Pan's Labyrinth (some of the creatures that Del Torro used in this one seemed to be right out of PL).  That said, there were some excellent moments and the final fight sequence was very well done. 6/10

Watched the Stephen King film ''The Mist'' the other day ... Simply awful!!

Also have seen The Happening recently which the acting was truly terrible...
I did Enjoy watching Hancock but it was ruined with the 2 superhero storyline!

I watched Zeitgeist last night, Emerald you will love it mate. Certainly gets you thinking, whether it be thinking what a load of balls, or maybe that there is something in conspiracy theories after all ...... thats up to you     7/10

In hindsight I think 6/10 was too harsh.  I had higher than usual expectations going in due to reviews I'd read and I think I was expecting one thing but got another.  Certainly think it's probably closer to a 7 or 7.5 out of 10 on second thought.  I'm sure you'll enjoy it, Misty--it's Hellboy meets Pan's Labyrinth, with a bit of LOTR and Star Wars (Mos Eisley Cantena scene, in particular) thrown in for good measure.

Speaking of, the aired the trailer for the new Star Wars animated movie before the start of Hellboy.  What a heaping pile of poo that looks to be (IMHO of course! ).

I watched that one Bam said was good"Already Dead"!
Decent movie,with a few twists and good idea of a storyline.Bit slow in the middle for me but still a lot better than most of whats out there at the minute which can largely described as shi'te!

Bamaga Man if you enjoyed already dead and have not already seen it i reccomend WAZ.Best thriller i've seen in ages.Same genre but with better story,more twists and gore!!

Thought that movie was excellent

It makes a lot of very interesting points that certainly make you think! Still seems pretty far fetched though, but i have always had an interest in these conspiracy theories

The bit about religion at the start is very good, just says what ive always thought about it, that its a load of sh.ite
