Striker out striker in? - Should we buy dimitar berbatov?

His agent has stated that the player will be looking to leave Spurs in the summer because he wants Champions league football & I believe that he could be a major hit at Anfield. The only problem is if we play this current formation he would be played out of position which could lead to problems in the future. I know that he has been linked with Manure & Chavski will be in the market for a striker when Drogba leaves but I think Berbatov could be a signing in the summer if Crouch leaves. In my opinion the only reason we are playing this current formation is because Benitez is struggling to find a suitable partner up front.

He would be a great signing , but he his way over rated and overpriced. I would sign him for around £15million but no way would I contemplate paying the £25millionplus that Spurs (or the newspapers) seem to think he's worth.

I think he would be an ideal partner for Torres but not at that price. There are bigger and better players available at that price.

Great player when he plays well, but too inconsistant and virtually invisible at times on the pitch.

It has to be said that he is complimented by one of the hardest working and energetic strikers in the league in Robbie Keane.Would be very interested to see how much ground Keane covers in an average game compared to Berbatov.
Berbatov seems to loose his swagger and confidence against bigger teams as well...........theres just something about him i dont like but i dont know what it is! :D

I dont think we will ever see him at LFC,hes not a Rafa type of player. He does not 'work hard' enough often enough!
No thanks from me anyways!

For some reason, Manhattan always calls him "Igor Berbatov".

No thanks.

He's expensive, but not young... And I think LFC should stick with the 4-2-3-1-formation.
