would he be able to get to anfield without falling over like a schoolgirl who's been shot, rolling round for 5 minutes and crying like a slapped baby? :p

£5m for Kuyt? they can fuck off. I know few people rate him anymore but he's off-form, not shit and considering how much other strikers go for (nugent for £7m - remember him?!) he's worth more than that. we all hope kuyt finds his shooting boots, some of us to do well for us, some of us to increase his price :D

On current form we'd be lucky not to have to pay someone to take him off our hands.

Any truth to that rumour (and I choose to believe that it's gospel  :D ) and I would say £5 million is a fair price, we paid well over the odds for him.

Keegan will tempt the Reds’ money-men with an offer believed to be in the region of £5million, which could be seen as a decent return on a player who has failed to nail down a regular starting slot at Anfield since his £10million switch from Feyenoord during the summer of 2006.

With Rafa Benitez expected to swing the axe in a mass overhaul of his squad this summer, Dirk could feel his days at Anfield are numbered and the attraction of remaining in the Premier League could be enough to tempt the 27-year-old to the North-East.

I got this rumour off Kop-tv can anyone tell me if its anything to do with KR@P TALK ?

I'll carry Kuyt to St James'

He'd be a great signing for us, but I don't really see it happening.

I heard last night that Carson will be returning to Anfield at the end of the season and NOT be sold to Villa. Not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing, but we could have done with the £10million.

I don't honestly think that £10m was ever going to happen, but I'd still be surprised if he didn't move to Villa permanently in the summer window.

loan deals can be made permanent at any time I thouhgt? we can still sell him before the summer, but it would make more sense to put jim up for the highest bidder

Are Liverpool about to lose Pepe Reina?
February 7, 2008
This doesn’t sound quite credible but it’s worth a read. FansFC reports that Liverpool could have to wash their hands off their custodian Pepe Reina before long.

The conspiracy is that AC Milan are at the heart of this merry-go-round. Milan are reported to be interested in signing Villarreal goalkeeper Diego Lopez at the end of the season to replace Nelson Dida and this has provoked the circulation of the speculation that Villarreal would try and lure their former player.

Reina was signed by Liverpool from the Spanish club in 2005 and has catwalked into the first team. But Liverpool might as well miss out on the UEFA Champions League next season and should the Yellow Submarine, who are going pretty strong in La Liga at the moment, do get to play in Europe’s top-tier competition, Reina could well be tempted to return to El Madrigal.

kuyt isnt a keegan type player at all. he likes his forwards to have guile and flair, and i dont think a workhorse like kuyt would be anywhere near his thoughts

I think if they sign kuyt for £5million they will be getting a bargain . Where else would they be able to buy a WORLD CLASS , defensive midfielder for 5 million squid , Steal of the summer that would be.

personally i would absolutely love to have joe cole here. putting all inter club rivalries aside i think he's one of the best players in the league at the moment, kind of like a luis garcia having a permanent blinder.

Livepool line up move for Real Zaragoza star Sergio Garcia

08/02/2008

Liverpool are planning a summer bid for Real Zaragoza's attacking midfielder Sergio Garcia, according to reports in Spain.

The 24-year-old has attracted the interest of Rafa Benitez after scoring 13 goals in 74 league games for Zaragoza.

Garcia is under contract until 2011, but a clause could allow Liverpool to snap him up in the summer for around £12million.
