yes u're right he scored yes what i am trying to say is that how many did he waste before that and not to forget they were part timers , also if kuyt ahd those chances , he would have scored , he had 1 decent shot and he came closer then crouch was all afternoon , he hit the post ! Cut kuyt some slack

neither crouch or kuyt are good enough.  kuyt is awful but no way is crouch good enough.  We need far better than these two.  Until some world class wingers, dynamic fullbacks and a top CF is found we are going to be stuck at the level where are now.

Mascherano is v good but we aint got that much money and our side needs better attack minded players.  The lack off guile, flair and imagination needs addressing.

so get rid of a forward or two then.....you cant bame a defensive midfielder for lack of flair and creativity in attack.
you should use your brain before you type in future.

Maybe you read his post wrongly. I can't find the sentence where he blames Masch for lack of creativity..

no im not reading it wrong, Im saying u dont miss out on buying a worldclass defensive midfielder because you arent scoring many goals, like I said.... sell a few forwards instead.

The question is who wants to buy some of our forwards and is Rafa willing to sell? If the only option available is to buy a creative midfield and a defensive one. Who do you choose?

emmm I dunno if u noticed but I think we have creative midfielder in Gerrard, so what are you on about?
Its a question of whose available at any given time. Mascherano is world class and available so it would be stupid not to buy him now. I would have hated to see skrtel today without mascherano playing in front of him.

Agree with ur post , yes mashcerano is world class and we have to sign him ASAP , skrtel did not have the bet of debuts , he made mistakes , but canot be blamed for the goals . 1st goal was a corner conceded by him , the defence should have makred them better and the second goal , he was at the right place at the wrong time , He looked nervous , can't blame the lad , first game for a big club and he's not totally match fit

Thank u Einstein , now enlighten us on where the money is to come from ? We have a squad good enough to challenge and prob win the title , the problem this season is our inability to take our chnaces and that has costed us games and points which has led to us being 12 points behind the league leaders
