Well, I remember there were a lot of people against it from the beginning Daws (although not nearly as many as will now claim that they were against it from the beginning, if you get my meaning ).  But, there were, I think, a lot of people--and I'm one of them--who were prepared to give them a chance.  After all, Man U didn't implode as people predicted/hoped after the Glazers took over so there was hope that an influx of Yank cash might be the way forward.  Many of us took our cues from their early press conferences, where--despite the odd gaff--they gave the impression that they would uphold traditions and leave the footballing decisions to the footballing men.  Sadly, they've not done that and seem to be rather lighter in the cash department than they first let on as well.  Bottom line: they talked a good game a year ago but they've since been exposed for the muppets they are.

to be honest when Moores and Parry revealed that they would be choosing the Yanks, I was agreeable with the decision... also because they keep saying that they've done a thorough research and believed that the yanks were the right choice... how I was misled...

No question that Moores and Parry have to shoulder a lot of blame here.  They trusted these clowns and assured us that this was the deal that would be in the best interests of Liverpool Football Club.  What were they thinking?

If it's the case (and it seems to be so) that Rafa gets under their skin, and that they are reluctant to get rid because it would mean settling his contract, then he has my 100% backing. We aren't going to win the league this season anyway, but we won't win it ever with these two doughnuts infecting the heart of the club. It doesn't really matter now if the manager changes all eleven players every game and puts Crouch in goal, ridding the club of these two is more important, and though I don't always agree with the die hards 100%, they are absolutely on the money this time.

Well bob, I think they didnt look the real deal from day one, and I was rather vocal in my thoughts about it and getting a lot of stick for it. Im not having a go at any supporter who thought that G + H were the right people to sell to but I think Parry and Moores should be ashamed of themselves and they are reponsible for the situation where the club is now held for ransom by these two spivs who had shown their true colours ever before they bought liverpool fc in ice hockey, baseball and in football in brazil aswell. All promises and lies.
I think having this absentee landlord idea with foster gillett representing G + H was never going to work, You cant run a football club from across the atlantic. Also the alarm bells should have been ringing when Gillett had to bring hicks on board to affor the club (all based on a conversation at a hockey game i might add). Also did it not dawn o G + H that the were selling to two men with other interests in other sports and therefore Liverpool FC was just another franchise to them anyway?
Moores should be barred from Anfield for his incompetence ( not just selling to G + h but his performance as chairman since 1991 whic to be honest has been very very poor) and Parry should have been sacked years ago.
I hope tht G  + H sell the club but they hold all the cards now and Liverpool FC are the ones to suffer.
Moores should resign as a mark of protest to the way the club has been run. He wont do he is a coward anyway.

top post.....moores is as much to blame here as anyone. He and Parry were touting LFC around the world for a few years before H+G turned up on the scene.  Like many, i hoped for the best....afterall these are rich men who wanted the best for our team....or so i hoped! 

Bottom line is, they're out of their depth and have made themselves look fools....lets hope the last laugh istn' at LFC's expense.

Its all about the $ to them.  The only way to make them notice is to turn up outside the ground and don't go in.  and then do the same the next game.

Imagine the worlds press outside Anfield whilst the ground is empty.  The teams running out and there is nobody there. 

On monday the ground will be full as usual, which means we are once again putting money in the yanks pockets whilst they stick their little cox up our clubs a$$

But I know that in the world of football, sometimes you want to get rid of something bad, you open your arms to the incoming owners, and they can be even worse. The world is full of incompetents, and corrupt people.

Sometimes is better a well known bad guy than an unknown one. Those americans have done mistakes, but also put some cash to buy players like Torres. It's nice to point them out they're screwing it up, but they should be given a chance to rectify, just like we give time to Rafa and ask him to rectify, or we give time to a player and ask him to improve. But this is an external view, only.
