He scored in the 3-1 UEFA Super Cup lost to then European Champions Liverpool, but despite this defeat, Carvalho had shown he could cope on the European stage.

CSKA Moscow Radio have announced Carvalho has agreed a four year deal with American club LA Galaxy. He is currently out of contract and has been linked with clubs from all over the world

that is what is says now

I just watched the old "you tube video" and can confirm that he wears gloves, looks a bit like Simao, likes a dive, and during the last few seasons has scored some decent goals. God knows if he's any good or not, but we'll see.

As for Ronaldhino. Is he actually for sale? If his price is 20 mill or less I would kick the door in and go get him. I'm led to beleive he has done feck all for a while now, but a change of club and manager could be just what he needs. Feck me I'd love to see him in a Liverpool shirt, even if it is only on the telly in the middle of the night with some clueless American commentator talking about side-volleys and the like.

Ronaldinho is in a similar position to Frank Lampard i.e. he can buy out the remainder of his contract for a reported £13million. Obviously any team that goes for him will have to expect to pay horrendous wages circa £7 to 10 million a year, which is why I suppose the Middlesbro' offer wasn't as daft as we may have thought.

As far as I am aware this buying out of the remainder of contract has never actually been tried yet.

I seem to remember some scottish player do this last season where he subsequent went to a smaller premier league club. Not too sure about this though, I might be wrong. I certainly haven't seen any "big" players do it, even though the media is always talking about it as a possibility, if someone seems to be the slightest bit discontent.

According to Spanish media Valencia are interested in signing Riise so hopefully will start a bidding warwith Villa.

Talking of Villa heres a little snippet from the Spanish radio regarding the recent trouble between Rafa and the board.

Radio Nacional de Espana are reporting that the transfer problem of Benitez was not Kakha Kaladze or Garay; the problem arose from a proposed bid for Valencia's David Villa.

The guy says that Rafa is negotiating a transfer with Valencia that may take place either in January or in the summer and that involves 23M plus Riise or Crouch (Valencia wants Crouch he understands). Apparently Valencia also want to buy back Momo Sissoko (no price given).

have you seen what someone edited?

"He has recently been seen showing off his "I am an ABU, are you?" t-shirt. He then removed that one to reveal his "As always, we are focussed on supporting our manager" t-shirt. He will will sign for Man Utd for £193m next season."

Thats why you dont trust wiki  :D

I'd give up Carson to Aston Villa and Momo, Riise, and Crouch for David Villa and the cash for Mascherano.

Do you think Spain would be happy that their strike parternship played together every week or sad that they were both abroad?

Lets be honest here David Villa, like Torres is world class and from the very top drawer.
If it was possible we could get him (at any price) it would be fantastic business, if we got him with money from selling the likes of Riise Sissoko and Carson then Rafa would be a magician.
