Ok, who has the best collection of medals? There's one for someone to work out, I'm guessing someone who was with us for most or all European Cup wins ie 1976 - 1984. I'm guessing they'd be a leading contender, not a bad side and era to play in
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

Keegan and Clemence. Or am I just showing my age?

Also remember comment in Daily Mirror when we signed Dalglish-"obviously there's no such thing as a £500,000 bargain"!

I went for those two mate, but they seem to think we were only on 3d a day back in those days and that £35k for Keegan was the equivalent of paying £35million now  :D

OK, for those who think £35k for Keegan was a bit of a stretch-another shout from the past-Steve Heighway. Seemed to remember came from an Irish non-league side for little or nothing (in the Pre-Bosman days when frees really were free).

Or Jimmy Case-free from South Liverpool.

Perhaps not an Anfield great, looks great value if you look at his overall career though.

Forgot Ronnie Whelan cost is $35k - hard to think of a better deal!! Phil Neal was a similar deal. In more recent years Hypia is a standout. All this excludes the homegrown stalwarts of course! Of this seasons squad Arbeloa looks top quality and on the edge of becoming a permanent fixture

Has anyone mentioned Joey Jones? Can't remember what we paid for him. Certainly got a damn site more value out of him than anyone else he played for.
