Getting to watch lfc on tv - An easy solution

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

It's no substitute for watching the games live, I admit, but why don't users of this site record the games that they CAN watch where they are, capture them to their computers, and then share them on the net using bittorrent?

That way, Hong Kong and US viewers can scratch our back with coverage of these pre-season games, and we'll scratch theirs with everything that we can get hold of.

Sound like a plan? I don't have Sky Sports, but I'm more than happy to do this with any LFC European/FA Cup/League Cup matches that are broadcast on terrestrial.

The site would be closed down in an instant by Sky matey.

Sounds like you don't understand bittorrent then - there's tons of stuff that's been aired on Sky doing the rounds, and the nature of it means that they don't (because they can't) really do a thing about it.

Plus, there's nothing stopping people naming the files as something like "bad copy of some godawful period drama", and then posting the link here. Or just pming the link to people who ask, for that matter.
