I agree Stu (for once) :D

I think Dudek lacks confidence like a lot of players at LFC, when he get dropped last season you could see it really knocked him. :(

all goalkeepers make mistakes
some of the best make the biggest mistakes
Seaman when Nayim Lobbed him from the half way line and again from ronaldinho. Still one of the best this country has produced
Dudek, i rate, he just made a mistake
happens to the best of them

Being beaten at your near post is the ultimate sin for any keeper, regardless of what the defence does in front of you.

Dropping the ball or failing to catch it from an innoxuous back header from your defender, then realising you are in the wrong chasing after the ref to make it look like you were fouled is simply pathetic.

I can accept that goalkeepers making mistakes always looks worse cus unlike if a forward makes a mistake, or any other midfielder or defender, if the goalkeeper blunders it usually means a goal is conceded. What I can not accept is goalkeepers trying to pass the blame onto someone else.

I dont remember Sander Westerveld making as many mistakes as Dudek has, and he was shown the door............

in my opinion dudek has made far to many errors to warrant a place in the starting eleven, time for kirkland to come in.

Kirkland is cursed, I've never seen anybody get more injured than him.

smicer runs him close but kirklands had as many injuries in 2 years as smicer had in 5.

heggem was gonna be the new rob jones until he got his persistent injuries. looks like josemi could fill that void now.

of course, if Kirkland got of the guerney once in a while, we wouldn't have this problem. He's almost as bad as Woodgate in terms of his injury proneness. Dudek I think knows that he is not in the majority of peoples view as the first choice keeper and this makes him nervous, and by becoming nervous, he gets too cautious and his distribution, punching and rushing out suffers.

Dudek has and will continue to cost us points this year.

He's not a complete keeper. His handling is poor, and he has no authority in his box. He lacks confidence on crosses.

I've watched Anelka's goal 50 times from every angle. It is laughable how he fumbled a simple ball.

And he's going to keep making these mistakes.
