Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

Owen keeps saying that this new contract is not about the money but they have had loads of meetings over many months and still no signature, put your money where your mouth is Michael and sign!  :(

Paul, I am sure its not as simple as that, these players are individual 'businesses' in their own right, I am sure they will sort. MO is making all the right noises :D

I am fed up with Owen talking about it, it takes time to organise a sale and we won't be able to sell him until January at this rate and by then he'll be able to talk to other clubs about leaving for nothing.

Beni should have said on day 1 , you have 1 week to sign on these terms or you're up for sale.

He only scored 1 goal in 5 games in Euros and had a poor season. We'll see how confident he is then. Cisse and Baros and new player who WANTS to play for LFC would do fine.

I am sick of Owen and his attitude, who does he think he is? He has hardly been on fire the last couple of seasons. If he is that sure he will committ y hasn't he signed yet? Sign in next day or so or ****** off.

We need Owen to stay. But I admit it is taking him a ridiculous amount of time to sign his new contract and it is frustrating.... hurry up!

he's said that for ages.
seriously if you were michael owen, why would you wanna hold out for loads more dough,  and why does he do all them persil adverts etc?
isnt the money he makes loads anyway? if i was a footy player, already on loads of dough i just wouldnt do it. and if i ws playin for liverpool, the only hesitancy i would have about signing a new contract would be if i was boss (and he is) and the team were goin nowhere. but he cant say that as we're on the up with rafa.  just sign you little bell-end.
its not the chilli sauce on kebabs that give you ring-sting, its the actual meat. had one without chilli, and still had ring-sting. the chilli's only there to mask the nonsense they stuff inside that bread.

He isn't worth anywhere near £130k a week. If he wants that then he can shove it the w@nker has completely lost sight of reality.
