Its simple.....when playing :censored: like Birmingham and Portsmouth put out your strongest side, go on the attack from the first whistle and secure the three points.  If 2 or 3 goals up with 30 minutes to go, do the rotating then.

???  2006-2007 we finished comfortably above them  ?   ???  . And the was me thinking we were equal on points . Maybe your referring to the comfortable goal difference (2) that placed us above them.

2 goals is a lot in football :D

we would have been well clear if we hadn't basically played the reserves for the last 5 games of the season.

perhaps he's thinking in terms of we secured third then took our foot off the pedal while distracted by the final we didn't win

i wish everyone would get over this media w@nkfest over arsenal at the moment. they've hardly played anyone yet apart from an out of sorts spurs (when they could easily of lost). as soon as they get a couple of injuries they'll be f#cked, as they will be in january when they lose players to the african nations cup.

Good post.

Short, but sweet and puts an idiot in his place. Love it. :)

oh you simple boy.

Wenger has never spent big (take his sales into account) and has won three leagues, they mightn't win the league this year but it is likely they will in the next three of four, they look like they are improving - we don't.

Fergusons record speaks for itself

Mourinho won 2 leagues in 3 years, never lost a home game in the league.

That is the standard.

Sorry dear boy for putting you in your place.

why is it when people defend rafa they take into account the cups he won? such as the league cup or fa cup or charity shield.
asides from the ECL none are as important as the league.
what are we? a cup team?

the same arsenal that spanked us 3 times last season?
the same arsenal who supposedly were in a downfall since their dearest Henry left?
the same arsenal that is unbeaten and at the top of the league?

face it, liverpool are boring. we cant attack, when we do, there are so little players supporting because one eye will be on defence. its as if they dont have the guts to attack in the first place. so conservative!
arsenal has a younger team than us and can only get better.

All you ever do is come on here and tell the world how great Duff and Given and Ireland are and how :censored: Liverpool are after a few bad results. You constantly complain about everything and only EVER post when we lose or play badly. I've NEVER ONCE, in about 3 years of posting heard anything positive come out of your trap.

As for you calling me simple... thats quite laughable.

You're basing your judgement of a whole season on 8 league games...

Completely failing to take the two seasons prior to that into account.

I can't remember Big Niall going on about how great Duff, Given and Ireland are Smeg.  I reckon you've got your knickers in a twist there bud.  If you've got a problem with Big Nialls posts stick to the facts without making up lies and bringing nationalities into it.

Hi Smeg.  I visit the site most days but try not to post just for the sake of it.  Anyway, the number of times I visit the site is irrelevant to the point I made.

And has spent considerably more than Rafa has on said side.

Arsenal are good end of debate really, what we should concentrate on is ourselves

Im in the its omnly eight games camp but I take offence to some of the criticism thrown at people who GENUINELY believe we will be contenders, not blindly following a team and refusing to criticise Mr B but GENUINELY believe in him.

For years Ive been laying my usual tenner for the league but realistically hoping for a top three or even top two finish and this sesason Im hoping for the league.  Other teams will obviously have something to say about that but Im still confident.

To all those who think its over for us well I respect your view and would ask you to respect mine

Rafa "rests" Torres twice at the very start of the season.

Nonsense.

As for stats claiming winning the FA  cup is back up for a successful period, even Souness won that.

We have spent way more than ARsenal, play unattractive football in comparison and look much less likely to win the league.
