i dont know either mate, there are just a few things pointing towards them, if this turns out to be her blood we will be expected to believe that in the space of 30 minutes someone found the unlocked apartment, attacked her enough to draw blood, have time to clean up and then take her away without being seen or heard.

secondly, no parents would leave their kids like that. seems to be alibi building

just an opinion like peewee's

if peewee's and judge's opinions are true then it would be scary to think there are such parents. i wish to believe the parents are innocent. can't imagine any parent doing that to their own flesh and blood.

says:

"MADELEINE McCann was not kidnapped but died in her bedroom as a result of negligence or murder, it was claimed yesterday

In a dramatic development, Portuguese detectives are to re-interview her parents, Kate and Gerry McCann, together with six friends who dined together at a restaurant near the McCanns' holiday apartment on the night she disappeared, senior police sources were quoted as saying.

And, according to reports, the friends have all been placed under surveillance by British police, following a request from their Portuguese counterparts.

A UK sniffer-dog team, which it is believed picked up the scent on Monday, reportedly checked cars used by the McCanns and their friends, David and Dr Fiona Payne, Russell O'Brien and partner Jane Tanner, and Matthew and Rachel Oldfield.

Portuguese newspapers reported detectives suspect the four-year-old was not abducted, but was accidentally killed in the holiday flat on 3 May.

Diario De Noticias, a respected broadsheet, said Portuguese detectives had known for the past month that Madeleine had died on 3 May, and it said they had "definitively abandoned" the kidnapping theory.

The newspaper Jornal De Noticias reported that one sniffer dog detected traces of blood on a wall at the family apartment, while another dog picked up the scent of a dead body. The blood traces are being examined by DNA specialists and tested against Madeleine's genetic profile.

The Jornal De Noticias reported: "The discoveries made by the sniffer dogs strongly support the theory that [Madeleine] died in her parents' hotel room, either - as Portuguese detectives believe - the victim of an unexplained accident, or the victim of a crime. The theory that she was kidnapped seems more and more remote."

WO WO WO  stall the ball guys !

Although its a sick possibilty to even consider and could equally be true.

I think its a bit early to be accusing the parents, just remember Lyndy Chamberlin I think her name was. The mother who's baby went missing one night when out camping near Uluru. Taken by a Dingo. And the British incident where the young girl was accused of murdering her boyfriend while touring the NT in Australia.

Okay I know it doesnt say too much about the Australian authorities :D but what usually happens if the case isnt solved, the attention of "foreign" Police usually turns back to the victims as the accussed.

It could be true, but I wouldnt be so quick to jump the gun on this one, a scapegoat is always needed.

Ig when you look at their faces, the parents - she looks devastated, rightly enough. Absolutely drained of life/enthusiasm/....hope?.  Whatever, the mother in all respect appears like an empty shell.  But there is a glint there in the eyes...don't know what it is like, now whether its guilt or something i don't know. But there is something hidden, maybe its simply the pennance of leaving little Maddy alone and the realisation that it is infact THEIR fault, type of guilt.

Something more sinister?......i kick myself here telling me that

NO PARENT ON EARTH COULD MURDER THEIR OWN i cannot come to term with that theory (even though there are those that DO!!) - but is it really what happened to the poor wee mite? Surely no.

Then the Dad...pretty much acclimatised. Supportive, calm and collected...measured even?  Going to all these meetings and photo interviews and such...all composure and circumspect.  Or is that harsh?

Man, id be up the wall - even after 100 days..id be f**kin locked up by now i think - some tw@t of a reporter would have copped one for sure!

*********************************************

Their reactions (then) and now seem highly contrived and 'staged' - i see very little RAW EMOTION infront of the worlds prying eyes. Privately of course the case may well be different than that. Probably rather than possibly even.
But something isn't quite 'On the money' about all of this..

I pray it isn't (i want to say outright it isn't) But i just can't bring meself to accept they've murdered Madeleine. Please not that.
