Stroll in the park and a 3-2 defeat. At least I have got to go the pub for it though so not all bad.

Not ar$ed how anyone plays to be honest although I agree it would be good to see Babel and what sort of player he is in terms of touch etc. I really havent seen anything of him to have an opinion. 5 Mins in a pre season friendly should do it hehee.  :D

Does the £9.99 a month thing mean a Tenners reg on top as well as the subs?  Each time?

Yep, Ales are in. Lasagne is ready to be put together - kids jibbed off to bed early then bring on the Reds!

It sounds like the Auxerre game will be the one where the new lads are blooded properly.  I just hope we put together a better performance against Werder than we did last year against Schalke!

Yossi Benayoun, Fernando Torres, Ryan Babel and 19-year-old Bulgarian keeper Nikolay Mihaylov could all make their Liverpool debuts tonight after being named on the bench to face Werder Bremen.
All could feature in the second-half, though an ankle injury is likely to prevent Torres playing a full 45 minutes.

Scott Carson, who featured for England in the European Under-21 Championships earlier in the summer, makes his return to action after being named in Rafa's starting 11.

The team in full is: Carson, Finnan, Hyypia, Paletta, Riise, El Zhar, Hobbs Pennant, Gerrard, Voronin, Crouch. Subs: PR, NM, SD, JC, DA, AA, YB, MS, XA, DK, FT, RB.
