My advice is if you want to let people know what really happened then the last website  or the last News article you want to read for research purposes would be that lying pile of S.HIT

I'm certainly not advocating anyone buying the Sun (brainless tabloid) regardless of the Hillsborough issue but I've heard the argument that as Kelvin MacKenzie to my knowledge was the man responsible for the articles/lies and he is no longer at The Sun then the boycott is directed in the wrong direction.

As MacKenzie now owns TalkSport, do people boycott or agree with boycotting that particular radio station?

I'm not trying to be controversial, just curious.

Cheers.

the boycott is not directed in the wrong direction. Although mckenzie was the editor at the time, a real unconditional apology has still not been made by the paper. Lies was printed as a fact and they made no atempt to correct this.

it's not the case of boycotting talkshit, just don't listen to it. But if there was a boycott I would probably take part.

during the period in which the protest against the sh!t was in full flow...were there any posters or banners that the fans made to discourage the rest from buying it? if so, where can i get my hands on them? last season Anfield did ''the truth'' mosaic at the arserNal game....was that the first time?

i remember when my dad came home with the s*n one day i flushed it down the toilet, not before taking a huge :censored: on it first. what if we started an online protest, flooding other football forums with the things mentioned on this thread getting other fans on our side (but mancs can suck my :censored:). basically trying to gain terrace support from other clubs, something similar to the "save chip" campaign from soccer am. this could maybe be a start of a long term battle to put those evil :censored: out of business.
The devil on the badge represents the equality of manchester united with satan and his many demoish minions downstairs. just like the many twisted devil worshipers accross the world it means you have to posess the same sick minded mentality to follow that pathetic excuse for a football team.

from the liverpool website ---->

''After a long struggle by the relatives of the Hillsborough victims, Sheffield Wednesday erected this memorial in 1999''

why was it a struggle? were sheffield reluctant to create the memorial? or was it just an emotional thing for them?

im a member of the dugout and could start a thread there with a link to this one, there are all sorts of fans there who actually go to games, im sure if people who are members of other forums did the same we could get terrace support from other clubs fans. i think celtic are already on our side

i dug out some info and found out that the s*n sent some photgraphers to a funeral when the deceased's parents already stated ''no pics allowed''. other papers agreed. but then the s*n didnt and had to be chased away as they climbed the fences to take some pics and it appeared in the papers the next day. wow! scums of the universe. im on the verge of almost completing my project. i just need stickers or flyers or media clippings which isnt available on the continent i am in. i hope to post my project here if you guys don't mind when im done.

The sun is the worst newspapper in UK my friends. I think if I make a scandalous story and tell them I was the boyfriend of a Cheeky Girl and I had sex with both of them, give them detailes about how they were while they were living in Romania, they would give a lot of money and this is not because I'm smart or something, is because they are lookin' for scandalous :censored:... Remember the romanian who they said they wanted to kidnap David Beckham child? The sun gave money to someone to lie about it, and they invented the whole story. They are a shame for the press all over the world. Their motto is: "lie, lie, lie and lie some more"
