quaresma on his way to REAL MADRID and Alonso going nowhere...
guess we missed out on quaresma... hope Babel proves all the critics wrong...

who next ? doesnt really matter anymore really... we seem to be going back to the whole 'quantity before quality' thing anyways...
no more 16 year olds who wont ever make the 1st team please !

i thought everyone rated him. i know a fair few gooners who are really fecked off that they didnt get him!

ace how can u say that u aint even giving raffa a chance with the youth system he is setting up he is buying alot of tallent he is trying to build a club for the future i dont think u should be judging him on what other managers have failed in before him so please give it 5 years before u say if they will ever play i the first time ! :idea

I just wrote something about kewell in his thread. After his performance tonight, sell alonso and get a left winger pronto. The lad playesd the worse game i have ever seen him play.

Also posted in the Babel thread, but the number 10 shirt is still free.

Surely we wouldnt leave that free when we have just signed two attacking players that could of wore it.
Unless they do a numbers reshuffle and give it to Kuyt or Crouch.

well... most of the liverpool fans i know werent very excited when they found out we were going after Babel... we were linked to much better players and it seemed that we were going to sign a big name... was very dissapointed myslef ... i know hes a good prospect and has potential and all but we should be going for better players imo...

about the whole building for the future thing... i know that we have quite a few brilliant prospects now but im taking about this season and our performances this season wont be affected by the numerous kids we signed...

i watched the australia game today and Kewell was easily the worst player out of both teams ... very dissapointing and worrying...

still think we need a class winger and with Babel probably claiming the left flank i would love for us to sign a right winger although i expect us to go for a defefnder...

Big Sam Allardyce has just been on SSN and was asked whether Michael Owen was guaranteed to be a Newcastle player this coming season, and he said he couldnt answer questions that where out of his hands.

What number did Michael used to wear for LFC ?

Seems to confirm Gonzalez will definitely be on his way as he has no number, saying that Cisse, Bellamy and Pongolle are still listed so not sure how accurate it is afterall.

any one think babel looks a bit like barnes :Oo:

i think he could be a barnes like player he got the dribbling skills and the pace and he can finish he justs needs to grow a left foot and he sorted
