I dont care about Quaresma's character so long as he does the business on the pitch.

Fact is we desperately need top class players and they are in short supply.

It would be ideal if all the best players where nice guys but fact is most have egos bigger than any club but if they are playing fanatstic football no one cares.

Thing is we signed Bellamy and Pennant who are flawed characters but cannot play which is a bad situation all round for us!

Hopefully they will not nitpick over the fee too much if they want the player because given what we have recouped in transfers the new owners havent spent a dime yet.

forget other wingers.... quas is made for us.... dont mind if he gets hot headed when we play manure, scumsea, arsegun or any of the teams in champions league

this is the type of player who can make goals from nothing, can turn games against the run of play and can put fear into the opposition defences....

a rare breed of winger...

if he cost 20mill it would be worth it

goals from outside of the box on incredible angles in the air.... we would have 2 stevie g's in the team if that was possible.....

Lol! You will make an hell of a deal if you buy him i think...
He can be much more usefull to Liverpool then Torres. Torres is a striker and Quaresma a left winger but i think Quaresma could boost much more Liverpool then Torres. The left wing would be the stronger side of team with him.

I don't say he is best than Ronaldo we have to see both of them playing in the same competition to say something... but they have also very diferent styles.
Quaresma make the unthinkable sometimes, he decides a game when we don't expect.
They played for the first time together in the Portuguese main team against Belgium until now.. Portugal was unstopable in that game with them 2.
Btw don't compare Quaresma to Mancini that's a sin.. :laugh:

I think quaresma would be a fantastic signing he looks quick hes skills look amazing and his finishing isnt too bad either. I think we should make an offer soon on this player he looks a gem

i tried to use a translator but didnt have any luck.... is it spanish or portugese

i tried both languages to english and didnt have much success trying to read it.

It's Spanish. I used a online translator so the english is bad...

Quaresma's Atletico Move Hits The Rocks

Quaresma was expected to have signed for Atletico Madrid by now. However, with Porto upping the ante, and clubs such as Liverpool showing an interest, he may not play in the Spanish capital at all.

Portuguese sports paper A Bola reports that Quaresma's mooted switch to Atletico Madrid has stalled.

Apparently, Porto, the would-be sellers, have consistently increased their asking price every time a deal is near - at least according to Atletico Madrid supremo Gil Marin, who is growing frustrated at the news. "Every time it is more difficult to reach an agreement," he grumbled.

He continued, "We made several proposals, but we have our limits. At the moment, the only thing I can say is that we're looking into alternatives."

This seems to suggest that Quaresma may not make the short trip from Oporto to Madrid after all. Atleti are reluctant to budge from an offer of 22 million euros, while Porto want 25 million.

Nonetheless, Atletico insisted that they are still interested in the player and are merely looking into contingency plans.

Quaresma has also been attracting the attention of Rafa Benitez's Liverpool and seems set to leave Portugal before the summer is out.

athletico not in champions league so why would he join them ?

Lol! He wouldn't join them. They just made a bid.
Quaresma said many times that he wasn't interested in Atlético... as well as in Bayern because it's too cold in Germany he said.
The problem was always Liverpool:p

And by the way spanish newspapers tells so many lies... you can't believe everything they say.

Now we've selled our GREAT center back Pepe to Real Madrid for 30M €, so Quaresma won't leave Porto this season... but if an irrefusable like the one to Torres or even more appears who knows.. Why my club doesn't have money like yours???
