As if you know the transfer market better than Rafa, we don't know how much he bid, it was a "report". For all we know we could sign him for £15m. Again you link the mancs' signings of Nani and Anderson to us - they have absolutley nothing to do with how we conduct our business. Are you saying Roma looked at those fees and said "right, let's charge the same amount for our wingers"? Do you not think Roma have their own valuation irrespective of what Nani and Anderson cost the mancs?

signing michael owen is one of the worst things we can do.Players that get these knee injuries are never the same again and owen wouldnt suit rafas managerial style

agreed... sometimes i think rafa relies too much on the spanish market...

and if we can't get a winger... buy philipp lahm and play riise as winger...

podolski, klose, shweinsteiger and mertesacker are actually all good targets for us... and they would actually be reasonably priced...

only problem is german players don't really like to go abroad just like british players...

imagine if we get mertesacker and him and crouchy can do the robot together

....

Podolski?

very good player, overrated though! very overrated.

Had a great world cup, but can't cut it yet at a top club like bayern, he had a really bad season with them ( even though bayern had a bad season).

Not really. Which other top clubs have been linked with him?

He had a bad spell at bayern because he was injured for quite some time. He's still only 22 and judging how german footballers bloom late he is a tremendous pontential... if he's availabe for like 7-8 millions I'd buy him... and german players can adapt quite well to the physical nature of the premiership because bundesliga is just as physical if not more...

Well, Torres not that great either, judging by his previous performances. And he's damn expensive.

Mancini is very versitile, he can actually play on both wings and could be cover the LB/RB positions too, Rafa will probably play him in goal then.

I like Podolski. He had a poor season last year but has a lot of potential. Even though he struggled last season I dont think Bayern want to get rid as they see the potential in him

Jesus Liverpool are so slow in the transfer market.

Why soend 27mil on Torres when you could spend the same and get Tevez.
