Liverpool Football Club - The Rumour Mill

Who the fúck is crying? I'm just telling you that I'M ALREADY in my teams websites, Liverpool and RS websites that is! and that you're nobody to command me anything. Is that crying? no, it's telling you how are things.

Come on S@int, you can't expect I'm offended by an internet loads of insults coming in my third language. You can bring better things to the forum than that: sometimes you write decent footie opinions, you've got an age so you can tell us things of the old times, and you seem to defend pretty well with computers to help people. SO why don't we just keep on providing to the forum what we know best?

Insult me in PM!

I dont need to insult you in PM, and I could care less what a Sociadad supporter thinks anyway. I find you funny, and pathetic. You start an argument. You tell me to F.OFF and then come out with your usual load of pathetic cr@p.

I have said what I think of you, a bandwaggon jumping t0sser. I am happy to leave it there. Or is this just another of your language misunderstandings like in the RealWorld   Where suddenly your posts disappeared because you had made yourself look like a tw@t again

"Pires urges Henry to follow"

Robert Pires has urged Thierry Henry to join him in Spain by moving to Barcelona.

The Villarreal winger, who last summer ended a six-year spell with Arsenal, said: "I think Thierry would be very happy at Barca. Arsenal, their manager and their fans are all very good but it would be best for him to make the change."

"Malouda eager for switch to Liverpool"

Rafa Benitez's transfer frustrations finally showed signs of easing yesterday when Florent Malouda indicated he was ready to join Liverpool.

The £8million-rated Lyon midfielder looks bound for Anfield in the next week after the French club agreed a similar fee with Benfica for former Liverpool target Simao Sabrosa to replace him.

Malouda, 27, said: "There has been contact with Liverpool although I don’t know as yet if they have shown their interest directly to Lyon.

"People make their decisions based on the different leagues in different countries, but I would rather basemine on the club involved. And why not Liverpool? They are a great club."

Benitez is also interested in Valencia’s left-sided midfielder David Silva.

source was either the daily mail or bbc sport....

Kop trio set to signJun 7 2007

by Chris Bascombe, Liverpool Echo

XABI ALONSO, Momo Sissoko and Pepe Reina are ready to sign new contracts at Anfield after being convinced their long-term futures are on Merseyside.

The trio are now extremely close to penning deals following successful negotiations with the club.

Manager Rafa Benitez will be delighted with the progress made when he returns to his desk at Melwood today, as Liverpool have fended off serious interest in all three players from abroad.

It’s hoped the formalities of the deals will be concluded shortly.
e, Reina’s future always looked most secure. Although Valencia wanted to tempt him back to La Liga, Benitez made it clear to the new owners he saw his keeper as an essential component of the team.

Greater uncertainty surrounded the future of Alonso and Sissoko.

Barcelona have shadowed Alonso for months and it seemed a distinct possibility he may leave this summer.

Not now. The feeling within Anfield is the Basque star is certain to reject those overtures and remain with Liverpool.

The same is true of Sissoko, who was the subject of interest from Juventus.

He’s also been offered a lucrative new deal and has indicated he wants to stay.

Meanwhile, West Ham are hoping to blow away their rivals in the race for Craig Bellamy by offering a mega pay deal to the Welsh striker.

The Londoners are understood to have offered a staggering £70,000 a week to the 27-year-old, which would seriously undermine Aston Villa, Newcastle and Blackburn’s hopes of signing the Welsh striker.

Liverpool have not yet received an official approach for the forward, but it’s acknowledged they’re ready to listen to offers.

Bellamy has made it clear he’s not looking for a move, but privately recognises there’s little prospect of him being part of Benitez’s plans next season as he hunts for more striking talent.

Benitez will be looking to make a handsome profit on the £6m Liverpool paid for Bellamy just a year ago.

West Ham look destined to be the Premiership’s biggest spenders this summer and having been warned off Everton’s Andrew Johnson, Alan Curbishley has turned his attention to Bellamy.

Benitez’s first priority when he returns to his office today will be to assess developments in Liverpool’s ongoing pursuit of Lyon’s Florent Malouda.

Great news, hopefully they will sign quickly and end the speculation.

Barcelona are reported to be pondering a surprise move for Liverpool midfielder Dietmar Hamann when the transfer window reopens.

by: skysports

The Spanish giants are considering re-entering the transfer market in January to help ease a midfield crisis. With Edmilson and Thiago Motta long-term injury victims at Camp Nou Barca coach Frank Rijkaard is short of options in midfield. The Dutchman is keen to bring in a new midfielder in the New Year as he looks to keep Barca on the road to challenging for honours. Arsenal's Brazilian international Edu is believed to be Barca's top target to alleviate their midfield problems, although the Spanish club have played down their interest in the South American. Reports in Spain now suggest that Barca are drawing up a list of alternatives should they fail to lure Edu away from Highbury.

Hamann is believed to be among the list of targets to fill the defensive role in their midfield having missed out to Real Madrid for Argentine Javier Mascherano.

Do they still want Hamaan? :p

Bit freaky that they was linked with Javier Mascherano back in 2004!

That starting eleven is strong, but I'd rather play Gerrard on front of Mascherano and Alonso (not as a second striker but attacking mid) with a right mid, and a top class left winger. Or alternatively, a left mid, and a right winger (Pennant).

Did you do that pic yourself?
