Unfortunately, we failed because we had no stike threat to worry the Milan defence. Ultimately, we need a predator. Rather than spending 20 million during the summer on a foreigner who may end up like another Gonzales and not settle, why don't we move for Michael Owen, a proven premiership goal scorer.
If you had a player on the books costing you potentially 80-120K per week, would this not be a cause for concern?

Who gives a shit if he owes Newcastle big time? They're the dickheads who f[B]ucked up his move back to us in the first place. They forced a situation where the player either signed for them (who he clearly didn't want to do), or sit on the bench at Real (which he wanted less).
Michael Owen owes Newcastle nothing. Newcastle owe Michael Owen two years of his life, a Super Cup winners medal, an FA Cup winners medal, a Charity Shield winners medal and they pobably owe us a European Cup (we would of well won it last week with Owen on the pitch).

They came in with a big offer that we could not match, we told Owen this, but instead of leaning on Real, he took the money which is a lot of fuc.king money.
If I had paid £16m and paid Owen £120,000 a week for the best part of 2 years with only a handful of games in return I'd expect a bit of loyalty.

He is proven end off, doubt his attitude all you want, his ability is not even up for debate
Come back soon mike
