So for those chanting here ...

"Come Back Michael, Come Back Owen", whichever - to LFC

... it would be nice to hear your thoughts again.
:D

I said it and ill keep saying it, come back michael ,come back michael ??

For me nothing has changed regarding what i think of him coming back

??? Hes World Class simple as that, so what he didnt get a goal against Brazil, does that mean hes no good ?. He looked a little rusty ,but with more games under his belt ( and playing for a GREAT team)  he will be back to his net bursting best.

No one sane doubts his ability they doubt his attitude and loyalties.

Or is it worth spending an extra £20million or so on another striker just to make Owen suffer?

that if and its a word that is far fatsh, if he come o hope he will be as he used to be but i doubt it

i have every bit of faith in Owen if he was to comeback
no doubt he was a cockstain for what he did to us, but hey i'd be willing to let it go if he went back to his prolific greatest for us

I know for a start that that IF is a big one but can you really put it past michael owen coming back to almost his best, and even half of his best is still world class goalscorer

there is no coincidence in the fact that he is one of Englands top goalscorers of all time and liverpools for that matter. hes overtaken gary lineker for england, im pretty sure   :oh:  that can't be too bad

finding someone like fowler or carra is like a needle in the haystack.  its a pity really. owen left us to seek glory cuz he wasnt confident in the club at that time. does that make him a glory hunter? i think so. but to be fair as a player u wanna win big prizes. but then again...u can always mention stevie g and carra. i dislike him. not as a player. but for his attitude. the way he left :censored: me off. he made mcmanaman look like an angel. but perhaps if he comes back, and scores 20 goals i would forgive him. i guess fact is business is business. and he does his job well. im just worried about his attitude though. he seems to treasure england more than his clubs.

Players don't turn down Real Madrid...full stop.

There is no player more focussed and professional than MO.  Football IS his life, and whoever he plays for he gives 100%.

If you think Robbie was happy to come back, double that for MO.  Back to his home club, and this time he knows the infrastructure is there to win things.

I can't believe anyone wouldn't think he is a bargain...

£16 million for Bent...my :censored:!!!

In the context of that signing MO for less than £10m is such a good deal we should camped outside his house with the contract.

Welcome back MO...25 goals this season is it???   :buttrock

Robbie never wanted to leave, Owen wanted to leave.

getting owen would be settling for 2nd best.  Rafa wants other targets and lets hope he can get 1st choice and not be restricted to signing the cheap option in Owen.

Owen is worth more than nine million quid to others but not to me. If he comes back and scores I'll be happy for the team but I'll never cheer him on. One should never accept what he did to us.

Why would he want to leave for Leeds United FFS!!!!!

Leeds are no Real Madrid

Liverpool are his hometown club, he's scouse through and through.

Roy Evans on his return,  "I'm surprised but delighted.

"It is brave man to bring him back. He was probably the most natural goalscorer of anyone I worked with.

"With Peter Crouch knocking balls down they have got a guy who can put it in the back of the net.

"I think he (Fowler) will be absolutely delighted. He never wanted to go."

If I could highlight the last little bit in bold I would but I don't know how to!

Redknapp, ""It is incredible news. Robbie is a special player but his heart was always at Liverpool.

"He really didn't want to leave and he is back where he belongs now. He was a firm favourite in the dressing room and was a god to the fans."
