I got a bill for £10 the next week but I forgot to pay it. First reminder I got from the council about it was about a month later, a final demand threatening to place the matter with bailiffs if they did not receive the £10 within 2 weeks. Its not as if I was going to leave the country over £10 ffs. So it does happen!
