Don't mind pompey fans except that tattooed bastard who wears that hat and thinks he's hard. He just stands there all game shaking a bell.

Pompey fans at anfield last week were quite shite.

Was funny though when we started singing to that bell end:

"Who's the wanker in the hat?" :D

id say liverpool are the best fans, they are left right and center. portsmouth have good fans aswell but newcastle fans have to support newcastle, they are the only team in the city

All the rubbish about Newcastle fans or "the Geordies" as the press love to call them was shown up when they never bothered to even half fill the stadium for the fA cup game with birmingham.

The press love to talk about the North East as where true hard core support is.

True football is in the north east, im from Grimsby and lets not forget the great William Shankly managed us for a while ! ( Got us nowhere mind but he was here !)

To true mate, its one of them myths that the north east clubs are the best supported.
The ground was virtually empty against Birmingham in the cup and was empty by half time when they were getting f'cked over.

Pompey are loud usually but that bell ringer annoys the f'ck out of me and its pointless.

But no matter what anyone says no fans are better or more supportive than ours, even in the nou camp last week in a crowd of 90,000 you could hear us singing more than them.

grimsby - says it all.

i hate the north east.  it's a pointless dump, full of fat bare-chested idiots and alcoholic slags.  let scotland have it.

True football is in the north east

and where is the national football museum?

preston.

apart from us, city fans are some of the most loyal.

Liverpool fans are the best obviously.

Seeing the Kop as a sea of flags always impresses me.

I also like Pompey fans, extremely old Newcastle fans, Chinese/Korean/Japanese fans with their camera, team shirt on and bag full of merchandise, and families.

Hey, I'm sentimental.
