Best fans in premiership...

The Premiership - General Discussion

Who do you think are the best set of fans in the Premiership except of course your own team?
For me it would have to be either Liverpool or Newcastle!

newcastle fans turn up every week in their thousands no matter what strength of team they put out and regardless of their league position. They are however a very quiet crowd and the loudest noise is usually when they boo their own players.(cant really blame them for that)

My choice of best fans would be Man City, again they are loyal to the point of stupidity but always seem to support their players (which must be difficult at times). They are quite noisy and have  good sense of humour, especially about their near neighbours.

Close second would be West Ham fans, especially after their showing at the FAcup final when they must have been gutted but still shouted and sang their hearts out. Seemed to have a decent rapore with our fans too.

Got to be Newcastle for me.

They are a "fickle" bunch, though! :p :D

I thought I'd heard it all in the past when Man U fans were on the radio & TV phone-ins but this week the Chelski bunch have taken having a chip on their shoulders into a whole new stratosphere, all the world hates them (true actually!) and no-one gives them any credit.... well if they just let their footie do the talking maybe some would ahve a grudging admiration but it ain't never gonna happen... W*nkers!

The best fans in the Premiership are those big bald Russian guys wearing leather jackets who stand around Roman Abramovich when he's watching his team play.

Just don't make any sudden movements around them.

I remember Sheffield Wednesday had great fans, although it was sad for a while a couple of years ago...

Anyways, Newcastle fans are a good set of fans, but I'm afraid, Liverpool fans hand down are the greattest :bowdown

Don't shout me down 'cause they ain't in the Prem' but on Saturday I worked at the Leeds match (Police Public Order Tactics Advisor) and at the start of the game the North Stand were singing "Go shoot the Chelsea Scum" over and over again..... After the first goal it was "Dennis, Dennis give us a wave" (which he did) and at the end it was "There's only one Dennis Wise"......
Bl**dy amazing, now that IS fickle......!!!

really? that was like a Coventry City match, they always criticize the manager until they scored, and then they were cheering him. Funny...

Liverpool do have the best fans in the prem though ! no song apart from YNWA has ever been sung that loud (in terms of premiership songs) and even if it wasn't as loud as another song, it definatly wouldn't have made the players any more prouder than the liverpool team to have such an amazing fanbase behind them

if that makes sense!
