what a fucking stupid idea. Why don't we just get behind the team. What good will protesting against the board do? It would probably affect the players if we start stuff like this. Stop overeacting.

I have no doubt that Moores and Parry have the clubs best interest at heart. Selling Fowler for the price they got (it was stated in the following AGM that the price was closer to 13Mil then 11Mil) was an excellent piece of business considering he was on a serious physical decline, and they have always given the manager ample time and finance.

My criticism of them comes from the fact that they have failed to capitalise on the boom of the Premiership’s world wide appeal, Liverpool Football Club is still a huge brand and they haven’t exploited that to the fullest, I know it comes in tandem with what happens on the field but that is also their responsibility ultimately. Also, the way the squad size and subsequently the wage bill inflated under Houllier was unacceptable, there must be boundaries that manager should work within, players needed to be sold before more came in. The handling of the stadium has also been disappointing, it has dragged on so long and probably cost us so much money already without a brick being laid let alone the finance being prepared.

Saying all that, I have no doubt that Moores is trying to maximise the benefit achieved by the club with any takeover, if he feels we should be getting more than what DIC offered than he obviously feels that other parties will go further than what’s on the table and will be good for LFC in the long term.

I wish.

No, just that too many people are happy to comment on somthing they know nothing ( absolutely zero by the way) about in terms of the deals proposed by both parties.

I am more concerned of being in the hands of business orientated arabs with no balls than a sports fanatical american willing to put his money (or whomsoevers) where his mouth is. People go on about mortgaging this that and the other, but who doesn't have a mortgage ?

what damage?

moores believe it or not has done alot for this club. Sure he made a mistake today but who doesn't? He won't sell to some bloke who will do bad things for the club. He will want the bloke to make his intentions clear.

If the bloke does not meet his standards then I don't think he'll sell at all.

For your information moores has put himself in an impossible situation...he has put all his "eggs in one basket" he either sells to this opportunist yank...(which i think he will) or we are back at square one...with nothing to show for all this fafing around and moores cant afford to lose face so where does that leave us eh?...up the creek without a paddle...thats where!..good ol' moores eh...bah. :no

At the end of the day we asked the DIC if they could wait for just less than a week before we gave them a final decision.  For me they couldnt of wanted us enough if they arent willing to wait another week.

Some mothers do ave em dont they?  To suggest a protest over this is way over the top.

Lads - no problem the A-rabs walking away - if they cant take a bit of a ruck to buy a business then they shouldnt be in the game.

Its a shame but if they were serious they would stand and fight it out.

There's obviously more to this than meets the eye.

Game on to find a worthy buyer. :buttrock

There will NEVER EVER be a protest at teh match by Liverpool supporters to get the board out or influence their decisions - FACT.

Be the way Murf, 530/24/0021 at camp Nou if you dont mind sitting with the bomber and our kid lid.
