And not interfere with Rafa and be a yes man to him who ever he wants to buy.
Its all a bit Glazer like only this fella is like the rag and bone man compared to Glazer.
I dont want the club in 500 million pounds worth of debt either, and then he goes and sells us after 3-5 years to any Tom Dick or Harry.
We dont know nothing about him, I dont trust him, our beloved LFC run by a complete stranger who hasnt got a clue about us.
I am so p.issed off with todays turn of events and good timing LFC just before the derby well done.

Exactly, he is not interested in making Liverpool successful. He just wants to keep us in the Champions league get his TV money and buy a token player every year. Sheik Mohammed would have made us Premiership Champions i have no doubt about that, this gillett will just be happy for us to keep ticking over. He promises cash injections but only a couple of weeks ago he was on about us sharing a ground with the bluesh*te, how out of touch can you get. I'm a bit worried now to be honest cos i just can't see him being prepared to match the spending of other club owners in the league.

as I said, he won't sell unless he is assured that the buyer will do good and only good for the club.

Investment is always nice but if I'm being honest although it's better for the club financially, I don't want a new stadium, I don't want the kind of chants we give to chelsea. We've done fine without investment so far. It would help....yes but it's not like we are in dire straits financially with moores is it?

Have you actually looked at the gillet bloke's background or are you another who just assumes?

Too many kneejerks around this place. We should be getting behind everyone at the club. Not slagging them off.

Some dont seem to understand we NEED a new stadium or dire straits is exactly where we`ll be.
"We have done fine without investment" have we? minus 05.
Some of you may think third or forth is good enough, well is it :censored: and without increast revenue we will start slipping further, before you know it the like of spurs will finish above us and we will be back in the Uefa cup.Think how many teams can out spend us now.
That why i and others are so pi$$ed of, we have very little choise but take the yanks money and hope for the best, its sh*t.

Roll on the bitters, i need something to chear me up. :)

I'm sorry but this absolutely pathetic! DIC have clearly shown that they are fans. It takes a lot of time to go over the finances of a club, especially if one were to invest for the long term. Gillette's offer is way too sketchy. Why all of sudden has he made an offer. The guy is not even a fan! What fan would originally be for a ground share with :censored: Everton? For all we know this deal will bankrupt him for the third time. I cannot believe Moores has all of a sudden stalled because of Gillette coming in. I mean honestly, what could Gillette offer than DIC could not? His wealth is probably not even 5% DIC's. Yea, we'll have a stadium built (probably cut some corners), but what about sufficient transfer funds that DIC could undoubtably supply for the next millenium. In my opinion Moores completely misread the situation. He assumed DIC would never pull the plug, considering they spent months going over the books. Now we have a yank who has a history of bankruptcy and who has never been successful with the franchises that he now or has owned. I honestly I don't think he's in it for the long run. He's in it to make a profit. With TV rights to skyrocket in the next few years, who wouldn't want to make a quick buck(pun).  Bottom line, Moores should have taken DIC up on their offer and not :censored: around like a complete moron. He completely disrespected DIC and a great offer. I honestly don't see how we could be any better off. Not in the slightest. :censored:!

it's just because I've proved you wrong mate. I'm not up me own arse, some people are just blurts and come out with the first thing that pops into their head like 'let's have a protest' which is honestly the stupidest idea I've heard tonight and some people are so arrogant all they can result to is insults when someone doesn't agree with them. You should join RAWK I hear it's full of your kind.

Isnt it wonderful when fans start telling the chairman what to do? For g@ds sake grow up and get real. Business is business, the arabs wanted the best deal and the shareholders werent going to agree.

We dont even know the terms of the offer and people are slagging off Moores! Get a life!

Get the facts then consider an opinion, until then, just accept there must have been a good reason for the shareholders to turn the deal down.

The irony of it all is that you knee-jerkers have no idea what you are protesting about yet.  Is it because DIC walked?  Is it because this Gillett is a Yank?  Is it because Moores and the Board are money grubbers?  Or because they're too tentative? What is it?

What would you put on your banner to show the board on Saturday?  With the number of half-baked ideas I've read on here tonight, your banner would need to cover the entire Kop to get all  the gripes in.

FFS, call it a night.  Let things shake out and let the club release a proper statement and then, maybe, you lot could make an informed evaluation of what's happened rather than jumping to a million conclusions.  Unbelievable!  :no
