Well - what a 2 week period for LFC - and what a period coming up.
Extremely decent run of results that hit us this weekend (bar Scum) - and we seem to have hit some sort of form. Qualified for the next round of the CL, quicker than we ever have, taken some decent strides in the league (finally, for those that would wish to jump on that comment) and, above all, gained a huge amount of much needed confidence along the way.
For me, it's been a really positive week for LFC - and other results will only have made the squad feel even better.
Anyway, to the topic in hand, can we win the league? I've already said in other topics that I believe we are on the cusp of something and I do believe that the three games coming up will be a huge test of character that will pretty much define the rest of the season. Either we will come through these games pretty much unscathed, or we will let them dictate half of our form this season.
We are at a crossroads at the minute ladies and gents and it will be a very telling time of how the rest of the season will go in how we get through it. Rather than be a fence sitter, I will say that thier has been no better time than to play Arsenal away and as such I personally expect a win for the Reds. I also expect similar from Boro and as such I believe we will see a charge coming up during the Xmas period.
I think i'm right in saying we are 12 points from the top of the table with Manu,Chelsea and the Gunners all to play 12 points 4 games to catch Manu and the season is far from over so i suppose unless we hold up our hands a surrender anything is a possability.
