Brilliant result continuing my prediction that we'd go on an unbeaten run if not starting at Arsenal then at Boro. Five straight clean sheets and into the top four isn't bad for a team some say is in crisis. Still I'd be happier if the goals had been flowing a bit more regularly as we may have scored 9 in 5 games but prior to back to back 4-0s we had scored 1 goal in 3. We've got five of our toughest away games out the way, we need to continue putting chances away and then when Chelski visit we need to improve on a poor record against the top sides. 2 wins and 1 draw in the past two seasons (and three games this) simply isn't good enough against Arsenal, Chelski and the mancs
Never buy from PC World, product quality is poor and their 'customer service' is even poorer

thought pennant had another decent game, set up a couple of great goalscoring oppurtunities that kuyt should have finished, plus gerrards fantastic shot, but im guessing he'll get stick again......yawn, ps i was match, so didnt just see mod highlights

ok, im finally annoyed with motd. we get a little segmant, then what does mark lawrenson say about a game in which we had 13 shots on target, 11 off and 13 corners?

'same old same old at home'

and then we went to the next game? ???

Nothing about the absolute domination of a team in which stevie g pulverised the opposition. Mark gonzales scoring a sweet free kick, Jamis C scoring his first goal of the millenium...

Well, f*ck lawrensen, we were class, cant wait for the next game. And even Pennant was looking good, Finnan was passing players with ease, Risse was totally involved. Reina made some class saves... what wasnt to lvoe about that game?

Pennant ALWAYS looks good..  :eyebrow

And yeah great game, great result. Pleased for Cara.
Thought Kuyt played well too. (Well I enjoyed seeing him run around, put it this way...)   (sorry!)   :D

What is really good in that nearly all the top teams are dropping points.  Man U are the only team who seem to be winning every game and sooner or later they will hit a bad spell especially if they have a few injuries as they have little or no cover.

I can't really see us winning the title this year but I will not give up until it is mathematically impossible.

Another great performance from the lads.. well in!
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

agger was excellent again on saturday. we've only conceded two goals in the nine premiership games he's started and those were in his first two premiership starts against chelsea and West Ham.

he really is a top quality player and a snip at 5 million. i can't really see a major weakness in his game.

I thought Stuart Pearce made a refreshing change from the usual M.O.T.D. manager interview with his " I am not going to bullsh!t you " comments. Pearce seems like a genuine honest man (could you imagine Wenger saying the ref was right sending off an Arsenal player)
