Thats a great second half performance.

Chuffed for Carra.

Garcias was a class header

Gonzalez with a hidden talent for freekicks maybe.

Some good saves by Reina. We can go on a run. :D :D

Fulham just buckled once they went behind. Liverpools passing was better today as well.

What a performance ladies and gents. It's been a while since I have seen Liverpool attack with such verve, character, determination and also show a lot of character to keep pushing on in search of the first goal.

Rafa will be a please man tonight as his team done exactly what he would have wanted. We were absolutely relentless in attack and even though we went ahead I was delighted to see that we didn't stop attacking. We kept pushing and pushing and it was great to see. The interplay, especially in the second half, was a delight to watch and at times matched the hedonistic style of play that is usually reserved for Arsenal. I could wax lyrical about the team performance today for hours at the min as I am extremely happy, but I think i'll spare you for today. Oh, and the fact that Everton conceded from a Xabi-esque long distance goal today has nothing to do with my improved mood.

Earlier in this thread I spoke about how this was a game in which Pennant needed to put in a decent performance. For me, he done that today. It was like he had his confidence back - he was attacking players, trying diffferent things and finding a red shirt with his crosses and passes. Finnan is a great foil for him and today showed that they can link up tremendously well. I'm delighted to see Carra and Gonzalez get on the score sheet (and what a free kick from Gonzalez!).

More of the same please gents. We like very much.  :grinning:  :grinning:  :buttrock
