Oh yes they must be very gratful in being forced onto slave ships. They must be gratful that many cant even trace their history due to the knowledge being stolen and lost. The people of Africa should be very grateful to have seen their resources stolen from them. The Aborigines should thank the British for wiping out their race and be grateful for the smallpox the British gave to them. The Sub continent should be thankful for their riches and wealth taken from them.
Back then things were different, and it wasn't just Britain. All European countries were at it. I know some real harsh stuff happened to the people back then but you can't go on blaming a nation of people for things that happened hundreds of years ago or you'll never get anywhere. Some african countries would love to have Britain back in charge of them.
