Them few that are the simple facts of life...The biggest one being the sheer drive to exist and at the very least have an identity!

The Jews or Israelites as known now are simply a bullied child in the arms of a world that fails to see its hurt!They want humanity.....humanity will need to let itself known to Israel b4 Israel lets itself known to humanity!

I know the Lebanese Government rejected the peace plans, any ideas on the specifics of what was contained in it  I think it would be interesting to know.

Well the american-french pact wasn't good enough for the lebanese government because it wouldn't take out the israelian forces from lebanese territories. It would ask for immidiate ceasefire, but it does not serve the best interest of the lebanese government.

The fightings are still on, olmert won't give up, he is losing alot of men and he has not accomplished any of his objective since the start of the war! Israel asked for a week last week to fulfil their objectives, so it has been 1 week and they are no where close to getting to their goals!!!

Well our israeli friends in tel aviv made a protest to stop the war after they heard nasrallah saying they will hit tel aviv if the heart of beirut is bombed, am i sensing fear from the israelians there? 

Hizballah are willing to have a ceasefire, but in one condition, all israeli forces are out of lebanese property.

I'm so depressed

I don't think this situation is as black and white as many would see it. Imagine we were surrounded by muslim contries some of which sent suicide bombers to kill us. I know israel does not help itself but but i don't agree that this is helping hezbollah's PR machine because they will always have people supporting them in those contries.

I understand what you are saying, but we didnt send our Tornado's to bomb Dublin back to the stone age in the 80's when the IRA was bombing London did we?

I agree, israel has gone completely over the top in its response. But another thing we must remember is that Hezbollah and Hamas want the complete detruction of Israel, so you can't really talk to them.

Because Israel was created on land which the Arabs already populated. 

The only solution is the destruction of the zionist state!!!

no but believe people have a right to resist occupation.  i.e. the people of Iraq and Afghanistan have a right to defend themselves.  If the Mexicans took up arms to get back land which was annexed by the US I would support that.  If the Aboriginies took up arms to get their land back, I would support that.

Muslims in the 7th century had no right occupying Israel and Palestine just like Israel had no right occupying israel in the 20th century. Its the same difference.

Here, here Woolyback... Galloway's just a self publicist who's full of big talk but he's a loose cannon and no government in the world would actually let him near their cabinet. It's our democratic sysytem that's allowed a bloke like this to make loads of cash for himself without actually doing anything. The folk who vote for him in his constituency must be convinced by something I can't see. He should naff off to his mates Gadaffi and Castro, or go and vegetate in the flash Portugese Villa he's reputed to own......

Oh yes they must be very gratful in being forced onto slave ships. They must be gratful that many cant even trace their history due to the knowledge being stolen and lost.  The people of Africa should be very grateful to have seen their resources stolen from them.  The Aborigines should thank the British for wiping out their race and be grateful for the smallpox the British gave to them. The Sub continent should be thankful for their riches and wealth taken from them.
