DRUMMERPHIL'S THREAD - DONATIONS, PRAYERS AND GOODWILL MESSAGES

Liverpool Football Club - General Discussion

MODHOOD ?........nice thought mate but i really dont deserve to be a mod around here.Cancer or not there have been too many times i have fell out with people on here and i've not really set many examples with my use of the queens english.I have argued with newbies for the sake of it,because i might have felt p1ssed off over something, and for a bloke of nearly 40 not really shown a decent example to the young uns joining here.Anyway because of my current set up and what i'm up against, my eye sight, tiredness and general mental situation leaves me in a situation where i would have to decline if offered anyway. How can i tell people how they should behave, when at times i dont know who i am myself and how i am behaving myself. Thanks for the thought though.

I have been told today i will definately be home on Monday after 9 weeks in here.My biggest battle begins then. The paramedics will carry me upstairs and i will be living in my bedroom for ???? ?????
well thats the million doller question.I cant walk and apparantly a stair lift from the nhs or social services takes about 18 months to organise, when really and truly i cant help thinking they know i,ve only being given 6-12 months to live so why should they bother.I feel its all about money and the government have this  "lets see if your still here" before we grant you a stairlift attitude. Its the same with bathing, here in hospital they can get me in a wheelchair and wheel me into a sit down shower to wash,if i want a wheelchair shower at home i have to wait 18 months.
What happened to making a blokes last months on this earth,"if they are" as comfortable and trouble free as possible. All fecking stinks in my eyes.Anyway i can only do what i can do and i will be getting plenty of care at home by the look of it,district nurses, physios, palative nurses who will administer morphine twice a day etc and obviously you guys who will carry on making me laugh from my laptop in bed and plot our way to our next championship and trophy. You have played a big part in getting me this far over the last year and i pray it will continue.Let me be just me and stupid ideas like making me a mod vanish.I will be here for you guys for any help or support or anything i can tell you in attending Anfield since 1974,advice and knowledge i dont need to be a mod for.........Anyway take care all   Phil

she does have a sister actually, married though. As for Karen it looks as though i might have to marry her, with you lot about
I'm like a bloody match today,i have no hair anymore and with having 20 lots of radiotherapy on my brain, day after day the feckers have burnt me.I'm lying here and my whole head is the same colour of my pool shirt i have on.
Apart from looking like a right twát,you can feel the heat 3000 miles away, just had some bloke from the north pole here, saying i'm the cause of an ice cap melt that will put parts of Iceland at risk.:D

In my opinion sending letters to the IT director, is a painstaking, long, and uneffective way to have the things done.

I'd rather send Leonmc to talk with the responsibles, with Lando alongside him if the tone of the conversation gets high, and I'm pretty sure the IT director and all the staff will understand everything straightforward.

:)
