Man Utd thought they could get their own way as usual with the FA over the Rio Ferdinand appeal.

Didn't work out that way did it???

LOL

Ahhhhh but thats where you are WRONG my friend !!!!!! He should have been banned for 2 YEARS under the FIFA rules. If he had been an athlete and the World Sports council are calling for EQUAL bans for ALL sportsmen he would have got 2 years !!!!!

I actually remember the day they got relegated.Strange thing was it didnt really register with me at the time. They werent such an obnoxious club in those days(74),they even had a bit of class. They have gone downhill ever since.

its up to man united what team they put out against any team, all of the bigger clubs rest some players if they know the next fixture is more important. man united do it all the time, and so do arsenal, so you cannot be penalised for putting out a weakened team.

arsenal basically played there u20's side in the carling cup.

id rather man united fielded there strongest side but realistically its not going to happen, in any case youz managed to beat there strongest side at old trafford so it could work out better if there are a few changes.

come on the toon
