Only the one bad performance? Granted he has scored some important goals but how many possible scoring moves fall apart when he gets the ball? A luxury player plain and simple.

The guy is a liability and a short term measure untill we get a decent RW and our strikers sorted.

he has scored more goals than owen did in one champions league tournament at his first season at liverpool. he is a good player when played at the right time.

he's a litmanen, but better, cos he gets the important goals.....but he shouldnt start for us.....unless we are playing crapper teams so that he can get a boost from being able to start.

But in important matches luis garcia = super sub.

By the way Garcia seems to have returned to his ball wasting ways, however, I think he will play against Benfica and should have a great game. I'll have a fiver on him scoring! Odds.. anyone?

i tell you what i think garcia has been liverpools worst player since he signed. He cant control and every 10 or so games he does something good. he is so lazy, he cant control.

what are you talking about mate? He has been one of our excellent signings so far! he adds creativity into our midfield that we lacked during the houllier era and HE SCORES GOALS!

I don't agree at all. I think Garcia has been a good signing. If I'm not mistaken he is our leading goal scorer in the champions league the last 2 years. Sure sometimes he gives away the ball, however when he's on he's great.
