Some of you are over confident about us winning. Chelsea haven't played great in the last three games but neither have we (although the Man Utd and Birmingham result did not reflect our superiority over the two).

Remember this is what people were saying when we played them at Anfield and we got trashed.

Feck em play Crouch and Fowler from the off, let them worry about us not the other way around.
Sick of playing chess like games against these and the mancs.
They know our game inside out, Fat Frank said today oh they will play Crouch upfront and hit long balls to him.
They will expect this but I hope it doesnt happen.

Xabi to have a blinder cause of his OG against Brum.
Im not confident as they are still smarting over the CL semi final, but feck em go out for a win, harrass the life out of John "handball" Terry.

We need points no going there for a draw, we are after all the Champions Of Europe.
CMON LIVERPOOL.

Your assuming Gerard's best position is the middle of the park when his performances at right midfield this season would prove otherwise  :Oo:

I'd start with Hamann and Alonso in the middle and give Stevie some freedom to do what he does best......

Prefer Hamann to Sissoko meself Ian but I think Momo will play tomorrow along with Troare :sniffle
Just get a feeling Rafa will play Djimi duno why, but I hope my feeling is wrong. :Oo:

I have a good feeling about tomorrow. 18 points behind them, so we aren't really under pressure. Rafa will be telling the lads to put down a marker for the future and I really think its going to happen. We haven't been getting results recently, mainly through tiredness beginning to set in, but no-one will need motivating for this. Players were rested on Wednesday, and maybe that cost us a point, but the 1st 11 will be out against Chelsea. I was looking at the fixtures a few weeks ago, and I was not confident about the Utd game, but I thought then we would turn Chelsea over. I see no reason to change my mind - I don't agree with some people above who think Chelsea are in a bad run - they are still the best side in the league, whatever we think about how they've done it. We are closing the gap though, and are clearly 2nd best. But its our turn - they have had the run of games against us, and of ref's decisions for too long, and tomorrow I think it will go against them. And I knew we would draw utd in the cup and nearly won the euro lottery, so I must be right!

Traore !  :sniffle  Please NO  :D

What we do know from previous games against Chelski is that Xabi Alonso usually gets the better of Lampard in the middle and I see no reason not to start with Xabi and Hamann. Hamann gves us a stability and resolve from the middle of the park allowing Xabi to playmake.

If we chase the game we will most probably lose. At Anfield earlier in the season we were outplayed on the wings. Put Stevie g there and it gives Duff/Roben/Cole or whoever something to think about. Also Kewell is playing some of his best football for a while so i don't expect to be overrun on the flanks like we were at Anfield.....

Sami had an rare off day at Anfield but lighting doesn't strike twice in the LFC defence....

0-0 written all over it ...Just my thoughts :)

The trouble is with this game is it's a "nothing" game really.

Chelase have already won the league IMO. We are 18 points behind, and there is no way we can claw that back.

It's all about pride, and it will be close to a draw, at Stamford bridge tommorow.

We will struggle to score, esp if we play CIsse and Moro up front! I'd start fowler, as we simply have nothing to lose!
