Bump!!!! :p
Our job is simple, to support the club, not just parts of the club that are easy to support, but every one who plays a part, that includes ALL players.  We are stronger when we are all walking in the same direction. Walk On

News in from SSN

Carlton Cole is currently struggling with a groin injury but could be passed fit to add a physical presence alongside Hernan Crespo, although Michael Essien is still out as he continues rehabilitation from ankle ligament damage.

Chelsea will be eager to get Cole off the treatment table as Didier Drogba is still on African Cup of Nations duty, along with Geremi, with Paulo Ferreira also to miss out with a thigh injury.

Liverpool elected to rest several of their big-hitters in midweek against Birmingham, in a gamble that failed to bear fruit as Benitez's side could only claim a 1-1 draw at Anfield.

Influential midfield duo Mohamed Sissoko and Xabi Alonso were left out, as was Jamie Carragher but all three are certain starters in the capital.

Djibril Cisse was another handed a break from the rigours of action and he too could win a start, with Peter Crouch and Fernando Morientes both firing blanks of late.

While Wednesday ultimately proved a disappointment, it will be remembered for the return for the return of prodigal son Robbie Fowler, who would have capped his second debut in the colours of Liverpool with a goal, were it not for a linesman's flag in the last minute.

Fowler would love a start but is likely to have to content himself with a place on the bench, for what should be an intriguing and frenetic affair on Sunday.

Skysports.com Prediction: 1-0
A Chelsea set-piece could decide it.

If you look at it, we could have bought any of the the players they bought but not paid the fees they paid and not bought the amount they did. They are on a different level financially, but not as a team. The advantage they have is that their reserve team is as good as the first team which means they can be consistent to a degree where nobody else can keep up with them over 38 games..

If you look at their best performers though, Cole, Lampard, Duff, we could have bought any of them for a decent price a few years ago. They've been augmented by players from foreign leagues that are in no way significantly better than any of ours (Carvalio/Hyypia, Robben/Kewell).

Robben is better than Kewell.

Kewell is getting his level back though and should be as effective as Duff in the long term.

ove rthe past 6 games both players have played kewell has played a lot better than robben. in fact id say that robben hasnt been the same player at all this season, hes been woeful by his standards.

robben is a class player but is also a prize poof and will leave cheatski at the end of the season

Robben has more ability than Kewell.

He's quicker, more skill, vision and scores more goals. He sets alot of goals up. He can win a game on his own.

Kewell is getting his form back though and you can see his confidence and fitness coming back.

Spot on Dawson

I still rate both Duff and Robben as world class on their day but is it just me or have both of them gotten really boring to watch? I mean they are still effective but those two seem to just give the ball to Fat Frankie all the time these days rather than beat players. Certainly Robben is a million miles off the player who burst onto the scene last season
