Gettin rid of Pongolle could cost us big if our midfield gets some injury problems...

Pongolle is neither a winger nor a central midfielder, so how would loaning him out cause us problems in the midfield? I'm baffled by your comment.
He may play on the wing from time to time like Cisse does, but he's a striker and isn't as effective when he plays on the flank.

I hope he can get a run on games for them, but I don’t think Mark Hughes has bought him with that in his mind, I reckon he just there to cover for injuries, I hope I’m wrong though.
I think him being here is quiet pointless anyway, 4 strikers ahead of him in the pecking order, might as well get him off the wage bill and get him closer to first team action.
But is Blackburn really the right move? We’ll have to wait and see.

Pongo is an excellent player, quick and technically gifted. His only downfall is his lack of Premiership experience. That wasn't very likely to be improved in the current set-up - with Robbie Fowler turning up and pushing him further down the pecking order he would be restricted to 20-minute cameo roles coming off the bench.
This way, Pongo gets the experience he needs. I imagine he'll be playing week-in, week-out for Blackburn. When we get Pongo back at the end of the season, we'll get back the same quick, technically gifted player, but one who's had 6 month's experience as a first-choice striker with a bunch of mid-table scrappers.
This could be the chance for him to rocket from 'promising young talent' to 'first class Liverpool striker'.
