I'd have put this in the rumour thread, but it's not there, so here will have to do...

It's been reported all over the place today that Rick Parry scotched talk that there had been a move made to bring Robbie back on loan.

From what I'm hearing, this was completely true.

If you ask Rick Parry tomorrow morning however, he may have to give you a different answer.

Rick Parry can't be accused of lying on this one - we haven't loaned him back - WE'VE FOOKIN' WELL BROUGHT HIM BACK FOR GOOD!!

P.S. THE WORLD PREMIERE OF THE NEW FOWLER SIG IS BELOW.

Absolutely fan-f***ing-tastic,GOD IS BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just a pity we didn't sign him last Friday,he could have embarrassed ManUre for a second time in a row, give them the "5" and tw*tted Gary Neville just for good measure,oh well, never mind!!!  :D

Days like this make every low worthwhile. Even people that were rubbishing Fowler a couple of weeks ago are walking on air at the minute.

Just the sight of him coming out of the tunnel in the red jersey will lift the roof off the place. He's going to invigorate the atmosphere around the club just by being there.

Just imagine what it'll be like when he gets the first goal of his new stay. And yes, I do mean when - there's absolutely no ifs attached to that lad when it comes to goalscoring. :D

This is mindblowing fastastic news.

I know Robbie hasn't had the best of times over the last few years at the other clubs, but to me, Robbie has alway been a one man club and always will be Liverpool FC through and through.

Totally agree - the atmosphere will be incredible... looking at the video of his interview (Wiley link above) he can't wait and is as excited as anybody... "...unfinished business..." too right Robbie

Incidentally, check this out...

The last time I sat down for a drink with the guy that gave me the info about today's events, I came home and posted the following...

http://www.liverpoolfc-newkit.co.uk/viewtopic.php?t=7077&hilit=fowler+and+loan

I don't see the guy often, but when I do, it's always f*cking interesting. :D

Incidentally, we'll be wanting to see Charwell's a*se, whoever he is...

charwell wrote:Get real some of you, Fowler is washed up and is a laughing stock at Man City. Why would we want an overweight player who peaked 6 years ago. Some people really need to take off their rose tinted specs when it comes to ex players and Liverpool supporting players. Rafa would never be so dim as to even contemplate it. In fact if LFC re-sign him I will bare my backside in Woolworths shop window!

And check out Banana's response...

banana wrote:Never in a million light years will Benitez sign him. Benitez builds for the future, and he is very true to his own football philosophy. Fowler simply does not fit in. Benitez emphasize teamwork, skills and fitness. I guess we have to give Fowler two new legs, make him lose 15 pounds of fat and replace his brains if he was to impress benitez. If there was a manchester C striker coming this way it should be Anelka. He scores 3 times as many goals as Fowler, and he is still a man for the future. Fowler is a man of the past. If he returned and played his c.r.a.p overweight football here he would just destroy his reputation among the LFC fans, and that would be sad.

I am going to have some serious fun with the people that have doubted him over the last few years. There are HUNDREDS of posts from people saying that we'd never see him in a red shirt again.

There is no-one anywhere in the world at any stage who is any bigger or any better than this football club.

Yes the legend is back. But more importantly hes back becasue hes one of the most naturally gifter strikers in the country. Maybe hll even improve Cisse for us. Im sure though that in the Summer now that Fowler is here either Sinema or Cisse (even Mori) will leave.

Welcome home boy"!!!!!!!!
