Just in case you all forgot my post from last night... :rasp

I'd have put this in the rumour thread, but it's not there, so here will have to do...

It's been reported all over the place today that Rick Parry scotched talk that there had been a move made to bring Robbie back on loan.

From what I'm hearing, this was completely true.

If you ask Rick Parry tomorrow morning however, he may have to give you a different answer.

I saw the BBC news piece about 2 minutes before I left work. I've just spent the last hour on my way home in a complete state of shock, I'm so happy it's absolutely overwhelming.

Even though I heard something was afoot, I didn't think it would happen this quickly, or before one of our other strikers was shipped out.

I'm just glad that he's been given the opportunity to do what he was born to do - wear the red shirt and bang them in for fun. I've banged the drum for him for something like 3 years now, and I'm just f*cking elated.

I would hate to be a Birmingham player tonight.

I just hope everyone remembers what they've posted here and no one gets on Rafa's back should Fowler fail to deliver the goods. Rafa signed him for us honestly (even though the actual record is that "I signed him because he's one of the best finishers"), and even if we were to drop 2 places in the league because of Fowler's woeful finishing we should be glad that we at last, have a manager that listens.

I was one who said I didn't want him back.... but now he is I am over the moon.

I just hope he is half as good as the Robbie Fowler we all remember.. With our midfield he should score an absolute bagful.
