Bolanos is on trial for 2 weeks I believe. I also heard that he has impressed the coaching staff at Melwood.

Here's an intersting piece of information that I came across elsewhere:

I've got this from a very reliable source. He's a good mate of mine and he works for a Dutch footy magazine. He normally doesn't get any inside information about Liverpool, or foreign teams for that matter, but he did now because it involves a Dutch player.

I've mentioned that I had some information in the Dudek thread and also said that there was more about that transfer. So here's the deal.

We will get Dirk Kuyt for £6mil and Feyenoord will also get Dudek on a permanent deal, aswell as Pongolle on a loan deal untill the summer.

It's no secret Dudek wants first team football and would love to return to Feyenoord, so when they came in for him he jumped at the chance. It's also no secret that Rafa is looking to bolster his attacking secrets, but also working on a tight budget. So when Feyenoord proposed this deal, he was eager to wrap it up. Feyenoord also requested to take Pongolle on loan. They knew he wanted first team football and they wanted a replacement for Kuyt, so they don't have to worry about buying a striker untill the summer.

Both clubs are also discussing a possible link up. This means that Feyenoord would get to take some of our promising youngsters on loan and we'd get first option on their players.

My mate has burned his fingers a few times before and that's why he wanted me to keep it quiet for a while. He told me last night, but told me to remain tight lipped untill he allowed me to tell you guys. According to him the deal will be made public some time Monday afternoon.

If I hear anymore I'll let you know

Btw according to reports, Man Utd are close to signing Evra, perhaps we should hijack the deal. It's been reported that the deal is 75% done between Utd and Monaco.

Having Evra would more competiton for the LB spot, however there's Fabio Aurelio, Valencia LB who we have been linked with. He would cost less than Evra.

Why not? Traore is shit, and Warnock is still a young lad who has much to learn. That only leaves Riise, it wouldn't hurt to stir up some competition and get the players to play even better.

Liverpool have confirmed their interest in Brondby star Daniel Agger.

However, Danish sources insist that the 24-year-old has already agreed terms with the European champions and that only a fee needs to be agreed between the two clubs.

Reds chief executive Rick Parry has now admitted that Agger is on Rafa Benitez's list of targets - but he would go no further.

"He is a central defender and we need at least one defender so we have a list of possibles," he told Danish state broadcaster DR.

"His name is on it - but that's all I want to say at this moment in time."

Despite Parry's comments, DR say that Agger will seal his move within the next few days with a fee of £5.5 million expected to be enough for his club Brondby to sell.

A dutch guy by the name of DavelFC on a rival forum.  Seems a fairly genuine poster but again it's all 'my mate says' stuff so pinch of salt required until something more solid appears...

Patrice Evra had been linked with us last few season if i am not mistaken. He's not that good now. We don't need another LB. Warnock and Riise are enough to fulfill. In case both of them get injured, traore still can cover into it although he looked clumpsy. Anyway, we're closing in for Daniel Agger.
