never play new signings in this gam. If he or Agger made a mistake it could destroy their confidence. Wigan Pompey Brum are the games the should start with.

This game will be won in midfield in my opinion, and there's no chance in my eye's that Fletcher, O'Shea and the rest will over run Gerrard and Alonso etc.

I think Ronaldo is suspended, but at the same time it wouldn't worry me if he wasn't. Liverpool seem to have this power to shut down the best player's in the world, failing that a bit of stick from the fan's will send Ronaldo off his rocker, the boy can't handle being shouted at, every game I've seen him getting flack it really play's in his head ( Benfica and Man City being the most recent ) - and when he has a bad game, by God it is bad!

Could be true mate, he's supposed to have a minor knee injury, but he was spotted boarding a plane to Bracelona - possibly for treatment on an injury worse than first expected!

we simply cannot get overconfident -- sir alec is a great manager and since this game means so much he will pull out all the stops

without keane they are extremely vulnerable down the middle -- but smith can play like a banshee

all in all i'd play

              reina

finnan carra hyppia warnock

gerrard  alonso hamman  kewell

          crouch  nando

their back 4 can gat flustered so you need a 4-4-2 and that midfield clearly outclasses theirs

this is no game to try anyone who isn't the best in their position

so it'll be 2-1 and my ex-wife will really be :censored: ( from manchester) and it's a party for me -- i'll watch it at beakfast at the pub

Their back four had a shocker against Man City, and if they don't get themselves sorted in time for LFC's visit, they'll be in big trouble.

Those Manc f*ckers do have a habit of getting a result when the spotlight's put on them though. It's going to be a very, very interesting game.

Yea the defence is struggling and if Silvestre plays the same way he did y'day then Liverpool will have no worries  :p

Manure were 2-0 down and from what I seen the first 2 goals could of been rpevented if he was on his toes

Obviously I want us to batter them, but I can't see how so many of you expect it to be a walkover for us.

Arsenal's unbeaten run - ended by the scum.
Sh*tski's unbeaten run - ended by the scum... Notice a pattern emerging?

We really need to play on top of our game to beat the b*stards, and letting "Sputnik" Shrek have the ball just infront of the defence is a bad idea.
So. To control their attacks and give ourselves a strong platform on which to build, we need the following formation, IMO:

                                                       Reina

   Finnan                               JC                      Sami                          Riise

                                        Sissoko                Alonso
Kromkamp                                                                                       Kewell
                                                    Gerrard

                                                       Crouch.

This would give real strength to the side, and with Crouch, Stevie G, Kewell and Alonso, we have more than enough talent to snatch a goal or two.

If Garcia IS fit, I'd swap him with Kromkamp, then slap Stevie out wide, with Garcia as a support striker.

Think bringing Kromkamp in for his full debut would be a massive mistake, just look at Evra for Man U at the weekend, come in, in a big game and flopped, to much a risk for me that. I would look to keep Gerrard on the right because that side of uniteds defence simply wont live with him and Finnan.

Evra is about 3 foot tall cant tackle and cant get back and silvestre is as bad as anything ive ever seen, gerrard would give them a torrid time and with finnans crossing ability, that is probably are best source of crativity against this shower of sh!te as Crouch should fu*king bully silvestre, bit of pressure on him and he folds.

And id bring Cisse in for nando, for the simple reason i think cisse pace is a bigger threat than anything Nando has at the moment.

If we get are tactics right against them and play to are strengths 3 points is a real possibility as long as Carra and Sami mark Shrek and Donkey out the game.......And get Kewell fu*king tearin the back out of Neville and i will agree that maybe Kewell is getting back to something like the player who was at Leeds.
