And of course you'll be surprised that Rogerio Ceni means nothing to us. If you don't even know that Owen is in Newcastle (not New Castle), and he's the cream of Europe, if you say that Alonso, or Carragher or Morientes are not "good" how do you expect we know a peculiar goalkeeper that it's supposed to score goals from free kicks. :)

I'll say no more. We'll see eachother in the post match comments. :)

That sums up how much you know about our team, and you'll be in for a one hell of a surprise.

Alonso,Garcia,Morientes,Carragher,Finnan,Hyypia,Kewell[on his day],Hamann, are all good players.

And what do you know about Sao Paulo??
Did you know Ronaldinho when he played in Brazil?? (Gremio)
All of you know the brazilian stars only when they are in Europe...
Did you think about a lot of brazilian players you don't know in brazilian football, and  a lot of them is very good? Don't judge the players you don't know...

before this topic was made i wasnt looking forward to this competition, i just hoped we didnt get any injuries and it didnt ruin are current league form, but now i cant wait! We think were gonna win, Sao paulo fans think their gonna win, hell even that sapprissa fan thinks they will beat us tomorow :D. There has been a good bit of banter in this thread and its turning into a bit of a rivalry. So thanks to the sao paulo fans for coming on here and hyping this tournament so much that i actually care whether we win or not. Maybe the tournament means f*ck all to win but now i just hope we win to prove this sao paulo lot wrong.

May the best team win.

How can you judge our PLAYERS when you don't know half of them? You have the nerve to question our knowledge about your players, when you yourself don't know our team either.  Fucking hypocrite.

No I didn't know Ronaldinho when he played in Brazil, because Brazilian leagues aren't broadcasted here. I was well aware where the likes of Julio Baptista,Kaka,Robinho,etc... played prior to moving to Europe.

Secondly, I watched the Copa Libertadores, and I watched the final so yes I knew that there were good Brazilian teams.

Ah, this is why I love football, and why is more important than any of the favourite sports of the Merkins. Asia, Africa, Costa Rica, Brazil, Australia, Saudi Arabia, footie rules the world!

Predict, early goal of the Brazilians, then a comeback and

Ultra Morados 0 - 2 Liverpool.
ST Paul 1-2 Liverpool.

If we don't get the third it's because we probably won't have many scousers there supporting

i highly doubt sao paulo is a team full of brazilian superstars. Maybe  you have a couple, Cicinho right? Ive seen him play before he's a good player and would probably be class in europe. However because your team has mainly just brazilian players and generally the best brazilians play in europe i think that most of your players will be inferior and wouldnt last a second in a top european side. Brazil produces good players but not all brazilian footballers are class, most arent! and the ones that arent would play for teams like sao paulo instead of real madrid and barcelona. Similarly if all english clubs had just english players and most of the best ones played in a different country then i wouldnt expect us to be good against a team that has the best players from around the world.
