About houllier
I realise that he has some health issues and almost died as a result of working as LFC manager. This shows that he loves the club and I have a great deal of respect for him.
But the time has come for him to leave and it will be sad moment for a great number of fans and the squad.
He is noy good enough to stay. He has had 5 seasons and has not done very well except the treble season I am sure in the future whenever we think of the treble season we will think of houllier and say that he did a great job for the club. The treble success will overshadow the poor form over the last 2 years.

heskey has been given at least 2 seasons to show what hes got and that is very little, ok the odd match he plays well but he'll always be a spurs/leicester sorta player, never a top player so dont give me a houllier answer about another chance, he deserves no more chances hes wasted them all

if stu actually watched matches instead of pretending to, he might know, hes the only one who thinks heskey is any good, well maybe not the only one, but clearly in a minority

Talking sh##e am i?? For a start i was talking about Houllier. Not Heskey so get your facts right before you get personal.

I never once said Heskey DESERVES another chance. I said if he gets one "so be it". Read the second post and you'll see those exact words.

The other point about watching matches... erm... how many games have you attended over the last 5 years? I bet you its no more than 10.

I've been going the match since i was 8 kid... thats 12 years. I've been to europian away games and cup finals in that time. During 2000, 2001, 2002 i missed 4 games. So don't give me s##t about not watching games, co#k!!!

3 million is not much to a big club like liverpool.

If heskey leaves and goes to another premiership club we will all regret it especially when he gets his old game together and is banging in 20 goals as season again.

Oh and also I would like to say that I hate little pr**ks like mrcool who think just because someone thinks heskey is good or that houllier is a good manager they dont go to matches and therefore make up their arguments.

I am a great admirer of Heskey as he is a great player (in my opinion) and I would be very sad if he leaves this summer.

Calm down lads, its getting far too persoanl in here between members, not to mention on Hekey and GH. Ok make your point and express your opinions but please dont use frustration as an excuse for unsavoury comments about GH after his health probs. For the record I think Heskey has (Like the TEAM) underperformed for 18 months now. I am puzzled though , IF he is such a poor player how come Erickson keeps picking him for England ?

In his defence i believe Liverpool play a different tactics depending on whether he is ON or OFF the pitch. When he is on the pitch its HIGH AND LONG but as soon as he gets sustituted its "BALL TO FEET" , it frustrates the hell out of me so I can't imagine what it does for Hesksy !!! Finally i suppose Heskey's fate rests on what happens to GH at the end of this season but whatever happens i wish them both well and I'm not going to use this forum to denegrade ANY Liverpool player or Manager. I suggest others try the same

Lol - i think Big EMILY is a good player ...awesome in 2001 and like i know he isnt doing it for us now but he cant be that bad he must still have it .It all comes down to The manager getting him back to wat he was.Hes not the only one under-performing really ...somethings wrong

I think houllier is to blame for heskeys bad form.
Its up to the manager to get the best out of the players and houllier is simply not doing that (shown with other players not just heskey).
It all comes down to the manager.
If we get a good manager in the summer and heskey stayes ofcourse I GUARANTEE he will be a different player next season (by different I mean better).

Selling heskey would be very stupid and wont achieve anything.

Stu the red, always saying other people are talking boll##ks. Look at your self, Stan you have every right to have an opinion on anything on this forum. Houllier is a t#s#er, and the health issue is over now, you cant be sympathetic to him, Souness had them be he never got the respect, yet, he was a euro cup winner.

drliverpool what the f*ck are you sniffing?? Heskey's old form??? 20 goals a season??? Ok yeah he had one good season granted but wake up and stop living in the past. Heskey is not good enough for this club yeah he works hard!! I am sick of people who say that, look at any forward they all work hard. Strikers are judged on goals at the end of the day and before you say he is played out of position. He has had enough chances already!!

STU stop babbling on about how many games u have been 2 over the last 4 or 5 years.
I like many others who post on here have been watching Liverpool home,away and europe for 25years.Others on here longer.
I dont class myself as our biggest supporter, even if someone had been to none for whatever reason, id still listen to their views and respect them.
Banter is good. its what this forum is about.
If u have only been watching them 4 or 5 years, i believe this is why u have such tunnel vision regarding our manager and team.
U have nothing to compare houlier to.
and no im not at todays game i'm at work

Heskey is a disgrace to strikers everywhere! he dosnt play play up font most of the time anyway! most times in a match you him defending corners and walking around in the middle of the pitch doing f##k all! no touch, control, technique , shooting ability or confidence he needs to get lost a.s.a.p, to anbyone who will give us over a fiver

Heskey scores a goal just over every 4 games for goal for Liverpool.
Not good enough.
We have been incapable of finishing teams off for the last few years, reliance on Owen alone has caused this.
We need another 20 a year man, for God sake, Pires has 17 from midfield this year never mind Henry...
