I read this a few days ago an have been searching for it well i found it. I cannot believe some of the rankings here

Ferdinand better than Hansen  :laugh:

ok i know im biased towards our players but that is just so wrong,

An how the hell can Ledley King be infront of Sammi

IVE SEEN SOME GREAT DEFENDERS OVER THE YEARS that should be up there an all

Nanny what has done that Vidic to get so many praises? I don't watch much of them, but to get into the all time top ten in so few time is strange.

Funnily enough, the Liverpool defence of the last years has been very strong but never got half the credit.

I hated Leeds but Paul Madley an Norman Hunter an one f the first fullback i ever seen overlap Paul Reaney were well better than the likes of king an Vidic

seriously though sammi should be top 10 vidic has been good for 2 seasons sammi has been a rock for 10years and ferdinand ahead of hanson this is a joke and it looks like a mancs top 10

I dont think any other defender has as many league championship, European Cup winners, FA cup medals etc.. as well as a hat full of international caps as Phil Neal.

If success is the criteria then Zico should be in the top 3.

wheres kwarme.. Anyway list it total bollox soo many great defenders from the past not even listed and yet some present clowns are there.

Hyppia in his prime (GH years) was way better than Ferdinand & Vidic...
