I would like to include Hamann, Sissoko, and somewhat Riise in there.

xxxx we need better wingers joaquin right, gonzalez left or a kewell back to his best. hypia to stay but a new centre back in kompany or andrade.Upfront still not sure.Kuit maybe.

if we can't get joaquin then simao will do.until then garcia right kewell left, hypia at back.but roll on january.

I noticed Cisse trying to bring down a lot of long balls for Garcia and Riise to run onto in the second half tonight. I don't think that suits his style, he needs to be running onto balls not bringing them down and distributing. He is a goalscorer and we shouldn't leave him out, 442 is our best formation simply.

For the formation above, why Morientes.?. To put the opponents in fear by having a thinking that Morientes WAS a striker on par with Raul and Ronaldo... It's actually 4-4-2 diamond, with Gerrard in a more attacking role, supporting the now 'toothless twin terror' and Alonso as an anchorman.. My 2 cents thought.. :laugh:

DZed, Your team formation is the best - with the idea of Reina playing in goal rather than a right-back sweeper. :;):

No wonder we conceded 4 against chelsea & 2 against birmingham.
