Seeing as we are all into these fave film threads at the mo, I thought I'd open one which concerns Comic Book Superheroes. Seeing as there has been a flood of films dealing with caped crusaders recently, they have really created their own genre which mixes elements of horror, drama, comedy, action and sci-fi. So, as they are the hot topic of the hour, this is the poll that deals with them.

I think I've covered most of the bases, but obviously there are others as well. Sin City, Fantastic 4, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Captain America, Nick Fury (possibly David Hasselhoff's best performance ever  :D ) and a host of others have popped up from America and it's time to choose.

I loved the first Blade Movie, The X-men series was fantastic, Sin City was cool as you like and The Punisher was unfairly underated. Because of all this, and the fact that I'm an X-men nut, I'm going for X-2. Nightcrawler and, of course, Wolverine are my two favorites, The opening sequence kicked @55 and the quality of acting was top notch. More of Colossus would have been nice, an appearance from Juggernaught would have been even nicer and the promise of X-3 would be music to my ears, but as a fan of X-men and of good movies, X-2 just gets my vote.

Remember to state which version or sequal is your favorite.

I never liked Batman probably because he wasn't really a superhero just some bloke with a cape.

Easy, no contest for me.

Sin City.  Best film I've seen all year.

agree with sin city.

really wish that Judge Dread was done properly. it shoulda been a look darker like the comic with heaps of unnesscessary violence, but the Sly stallone version sucked ass.

I think Blade is class!!! Not seen Sincity yet but can't wait to see it. Daredevil was good but was let down by the Elektra spin off, I'm a big fan of Jen Gardner after watching all the Alias shows.

Saw Fantastice 4 the other week. Not that impressed to start but has go potential for a sequel!

X-men was really good also!

in sin city why did'nt micky rourkes character  have his plasters all over his face in the pole dancin bar when bruce willis entered at the same time but later on in the film?
.   ???
as a result of this continuity lapse I declare the film null and void from this poll

Having had another look, it seems it was'nt in the poll anyway. I'd have to get up pretty early in the morning to catch you guys out.
