Hey Guy's just a few views from spanish fans at Albacante about Gonzalez hope this gives an insight enjoy

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

What do you think about the new Albacete star, Mark Gonzalez, the chilean plays left midfield, left forward, and left back. Many reports and studies say he is the fastest player in La Liga beating Roberto Carlos. He was also a constant danger for Puyol when Albacete played Barca and scored a beautiful goal against Barcelona. In the pre-olimpics he also scored a tremendous free kick from far away against Brazil's sub-23, and scored a goal and was man of the match against Bolivia when Chile beat them 2-0 in the altitude of La Paz, Bolivia. Transfer Rumours say that he is wanted by Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and Tottenham Hotspur from England.

I have only seen this kid play twice this year but both times he has impressed me. He is Very fast and you can't teach speed. I watch Albacete to see Momo and Ruben play (two players that Depor has signed as prospects for the future). Momo hasn't played in a while because Mark Gonzalez has taken his spot.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Good player, the best in Albacete. I have seen him against Real and Barca and he was only one who dont disappoint. He needs better forward around him to be a better. Maybe newcomer Silvio Gonzalez ...

Well,me deing a chilean and all could tell you guys alot more about gonzalez!AS you guys rightly said before,he may be the fastest player in la liga, hes extremly young(if im not mistaken hes only 20) and ofcourse he has huge potential !not to mention hes a versatile player,he can easaly play as a LB or as a mid,it doesnt realy matter to him,but oviously hes much better offensively in the mid role! But he still has lots to learn. What realy lets him down is his croses! He has to realy work on that!!Lets hope he keeps on improving, but im sure he will turn out to be become a world class player 5 years from now, hopefully in the 2010 world cup,if chile make it ofcourse!

FROM SSN

"The Chilean winger brought to Anfield for a season-long loan from Spanish outfit Albacete, with the view to a permanent move next summer. However, the 21-year-old was refused a work permit and The Reds have now failed in an appeal against the decision in London."

THAT MEANS THAT WE'VE LOST GONZALEZ

The Department of Education and Employment in England are denying him a work permit, as have the judges on an appeals court.
This has nothing to do with FIFA so why the random outburst? He was allowed to play in Spain because that is a different country with different politics.

Hardly random. I read that it was FIFA that had decided this. Sorry to have made a mistake dear boy. The fact remains that he was allowed to play in Spain, a Euro nation, and as WE are in the EU, AND we are the softest touches on immigration and the like, how the fack can they refuse him a permit? Is this Blair's b*llocks again? "Want to bomb us? - You can come to our country, sponge off our people, have a free house, car and benefit scheme. You want to work while in Britain? - Feck off, waster."

They need to sort this out before it's too late.
BTW - we haven't lost him, he just wont be able to play until Jan provided an appeal is successful.
