this is whats been causing our bad enough defence trouble.
garcia is letting riise deal with 2 men on the left flank which rivaldo is having a field day on.
rivaldo is a top class player.
weren't we guna sign him at one point?

Oly has been all over us in the first half. Our defence have been exposed on pace on numerous occasions. The linesman has saved us a couple of times. Hopefully we will never see a back 4 like that in a full league game. AND we are really missing Alonso out there. Little creativity and vision. Potter is in over his head. Crouch and Garcia have done well though (apart from not scoring on that chance and not doing enough defensively. well, he is making some good runs). Looking forward to seeing Alonso, Carra and Sissoko in the second half.

Back four hasn't played well at all in first half, Josemi keeps going AWOL and Hyypia is all over the place. Garcia has given the ball away too much as well.

On the positive side of things, Crouch has had a decent debut so far.

Gerrard doesn't seem to be trying too hard tonight either, but I suppose its only a friendly and we have a lot of games to play pre-season
